Additionally you can just set the gem target to random instead of manual targetting in the beginning.
This can also be used to get a couple of easy levels in after unlocking the cache.
You could probably just follow this strategy and gem bomb the cache, but I can't test that since I've already cleared it.
As Conker mentioned, you can manually target enemies to distribute poison. This is the trick to clearing all the Reaver waves reliably.
For the cache, don't rush the giant waves like I did in the video. Instead, just take your time and use the Bolt spell whenever available. Your gem should be targeting structures during the giant waves so it charges the pylons to kill all the giants. I found two pylons work nicely once you can afford them during the Giant waves.
Make sure you're targeting the cache so the Bolt targets it on every strike (normally it will target pylons as well). I'm pretty sure you can safely get the cache even if you only start using Bolt on the giant waves, but you might have enough time to get a couple of hits with Bolt during the reaver waves.
If you're afraid you won't clear it in time you can always toss tier 1 gem bombs on it to lower the shield. Then, finish it off with a final Bolt.
Ah ok thx.
By the way, the flavor text upon finding the first Wizard Stash has been changed. It used to say, "think of finding stashes as a test of skill or a test of endurance," and now it doesn't.
