Seeker Sense: "XP gained after monster kills"
Excuse me, what the f does that even mean ?
Yes, you kill monsters, you get XP, OK.
It would make sense to use "from" instead of "after".

OR, this thing does completely something else and the text describing what it does is some kind of brain fart.

So! Lets play a game, who has an idea what "XP gained after monster kills" mean, and what it actually means ? :emofdr:

Well. You kill a monster. After you kill a monster you gain xp. Therefore xp gained after killing a monster is increased.

Both this and what you said are grammatically correct.

I mean, if you want to be really pedantic, one could argue you gain the xp before the monster is killed. The game still has to have the monster in memory to know its xp value, so if you destroy (in a programming sense) the monster object, you destroy its xp value and can't award it. (Please do not take this tomfoolery seriously.)

But yes. It would, indeed, make more sense to use the word "from" instead of "after".

Well, now we're talking differences of killing a monster as opposed to destroying the entity. You can kill a monster and leave it there indefinitely (yay for memory leaks). And not take programming talk seriously? Pfft, how dare thee lol.

"XP gained after monster kills"...

how many monsters do I need to kill to get my XP ?
will I get my XP now or in a week ?
what XP are we talking about ?
(could it be...*gasp*...XP from the monster kill?)

Anyway, banter aside, is it safe to assume that "+10% XP gained after monster kills" will cause a single monster granting 100XP without any bonuses by default, grant 110XP with the aforementioned bonus ?

yes, im a huge faggot with a logic OCD, fite me

You gain it when you eat your sprouts. And you gain the exp from the monster, after you kill it. (should be worded "XP gained from a monster after killing it" to shut us both up haha")

But yeah, pedantics aside, it *should* work like that. Pretty sure it does, though I haven't tested it, especially since there are multiple other xp bonuses affecting mine as well.

Yes. You click on the field token that says "A4", click "Start the battle!", and presto, you are doing A4!

"Colorless green ideas sleep furiously" is grammatically correct.

"XP gained after monster kills" is less precise than "XP gained from monster kills", because you gain XP from lots of sources and some of those gains will come after you have killed a monster.

Very common sense explanation of what I was thinking, but could not express. Thanks.

Good point, cannot debate against that one lol.

Actually I believe the "after" was put there on purpose as its a multiplier that is separate from other multipliers (fury, enraging, battle traits)

"its a multiplier that is separate from other multipliers (fury, enraging, battle traits)"
source ? Or it comes from tests ?

In any case, even if its truth, the "after" does not convey any meaning towards it being a global multiplier.

I believe it's a bonus to xp "drops" from monsters, since Seeker Sense is also a bonus to shadow core drops. I'm also considering the xp bonus from finishing a wave as a possibility. The wording is not clear, but it does not sound like a catch-all xp bonus from monsters.
