Maybe someone who's very high WL can chime in.
chapter zero it was 200 something waves
labyrinth was 1337 waves
chasing shadows was 999 waves
frostborn wrath starts at 30 and increases as you beat it to an as yet to be determined upper cap from what i know
You would have to ask those who already passed 10k wizard level.
There are traits like in CS so you can costumize the dificulty.
Ah, that's kind of a shame. Was never enlightened as to how long they lasted. And now there's conflicting numbers in the thread so I don't know WHAT to think.
Sklll progression is also endless.
Skill progression is endless as well as wave count which keeps rising, but the experience you get is a new record, not a completely new value. The skills, however, are rising up exponentially in their cost (the ones which are not capped). You will not only run into a wall, but will also eventually run out of skills points to spend which would give you an edge, since the longer you play the more skill points you will need per one skill... point, while the experience from extra waves will only cover several levels of the wizard, giving not enough skill points to breach the next endurance wall.
Even if you do every map on endurance to the max (at which point I would suggest visiting a psychiatrist) you will ultimately run into a health wall which you cannot cover with skills upgrade, but it might take you a lot of time.
Be careful, they are talking about "adjusting difficulty" because some have cried it is too hard, unless they add an option for normal difficulty, or easier, this might just become another casual achievement grind game.
The game is unbalanced since the development, it lacks content in form of trials, and several achievements are impossible to complete because their conditions DO NOT EXIST. This is not about "crying", this is about developer continuing development post-release.
