you using mods, CE, different exe? also could have got disconnected and it hasn't popped yet. might want to shut it all down and restart. I haven't read anyone having problems with achievements in Y5 so idk.

ah ha no that's not a glitch. There are 25 levels total, you don't unlock the last 5 levels for each character until the final chapter where you have to go and see your old training master. It is HIGHLY advised throughout these forums not to max out your character levels until you unlock these last 5 levels because the only way to get xp if you've done all the side content is to grind out street fights. Nothing else gives you decent experience. Since that info was ubiquitous, I think I should also warn you that Y5 is the ONLY game in the series where you cannot create a clear save in Premium Adventure. This means you cannot finish everything in the Premium Adventure (post game from the menu) and then make a save to use for New Game Plus. There's a few implications of this that are not obvious but I, and many others, simply completed everything during the final chapter, in which it gives you ample time as long as you don't abuse the sleep/time of day change. I think you can change time of day like 4 times before it kicks you automatically into the finale. So make sure you get all the fishing done by following a guide and making absolutely sure you got everything before you go to the finale. Otherwise, you need to finish it in New Game + or Premium Adventure.

I'm not using any mod. I've finish the game, unlocking other achievements without problems, and that one never triggered. I hope to get it when I replay the main story on legend.

Well, each character needs to be at level 20 before they can even attempt to raise their individual level cap to 25, but any experience one gains while at level 20 and before raising that cap is simply lost.

Akiyama has so little content prior to the final chapter (where the unlock is possible) that you might just have to have him run around into street fights to get to 20. Getting Haruka to 20 without just grinding dance battles requires doing almost all her jobs, I think.

But unless you're really planning to complete all the substories including going against that clan, you don't really need to be at level 25, at least on the normal difficulty.

My game doesn't seem to recognize my controllers when I have them connected. I tried to use both my xbox one controller and my ps5 controller, enabling the respective configs in Big Picture mode, but the game only seems to recognize my keyboard/mouse input when i start it up. I've reached out to official Sega support, but they weren't able to help me and recommended I post to this forum for help. See my system config below.

the "devs" who ported this game are long gone, they're not going to provide any support. are you sure the game recognizes your GPU? is it using your onboard graphics instead of the GPU? I can't guess from what you've told me, you need to post specs. but assuming you meet min requirements, then it sounds like you're not using your main GPU. Are you using a laptop? this happens frequently on laptops. Are you using mods? Are your settings low enough?

have been stuck in Amon fight for hours not because the fight is hard but because there's this glitch where i stuck in grab animation whenever Jo Amon grab me. i can't shake him off no matter how hard i press the button and he won't throw me either. so the game just stuck on grab animation forever and i had to restart the fight.

i tried using turbo button on controller and then limit the fps to 30 but none working. it's really annoying

EDIT: never mind lol, apparently you either have to have more than 1000 chips on you or you have to do the tutorial first for it to work right.

For me, the high stakes blackjack has the same starting minimum and maximum bets as low stakes

(I do not know why Steam's system checker is saying i have zero HDDs and zero SSDs, i have three SATA SSDs and one NVMe and Yakuza 5 is installed one of the SATA SSDs)

Having an issue during the end of Chapter 4 QTE when Shinada has to hit the baseball after the cutscene of clearing the field with Sawada. The cutscene never seems to load and I can only see a still image of what looks like a view from under the field. The prompt for the QTE appears but nothing changes after this. I am able to pause and choose to skip the cutscene but the screen only goes back for a moment and then returns to the view of the field and I can repeat this over and over with no changes. I've had problems with a lot of the prerendered cutscenes in this game but i've never been unable to skip them when they freeze until now. I've tried verifying files, changing resolution and graphics settings but nothing seems to make a difference. I don't have any other saves except for right before this event. Any one else have this issue?

Edit: Solved by uninstalling and reinstalling

outside of Y0 and K1, you really need to be running these games on an SSD and be aware that anything greater than 60fps 60hz 1080p will cause problems in strange ways. Almost all of the weird glitches is usually down to what I listed or having a rig at or below min specs.

you don't have the game and I never said it wouldn't work just that IF you're having problems these are the most likely culprits.
