In fact, I think the only time I actually put up with it was when I got to play pool with Majima in Kiwami.
No matter where I aimed at (a straight line at the beginning or a angle), the cue ball always hits in the wrong angle, and I watch the AI literally destroyed me on easy difficulty.
Heck, I have no issue playing billiard on Y0 and Kiwami.
Yup, I've played 0 and Kiwami and the physics were never this messed up in those games. I never bothered with pool in 3 and 4 so I can't say anything about them.
So toggle vsync for pool I'm guessing?
You can use my fix, but you should really just use steam's own in built controller functionality or use a mouse. I link to the easy fix at the very top of my guide, so click that and read it.
tl;dr version is just shift+tab, click on controller config, click on right stick options, turn off horizontal movement.

btw, this affects all 3 remastered games and it is present in the ps4 versions and unfortunately for them, they don't have a way to fix it outside of buying a new controller and being very careful. the tiniest amount of drift will mess up your shot.
