SAEJIMA PRISON GUARD BOSS???

How did this abomination of a bossfight make it past playtesting? No one saw a problem with it during development? One of the worst gaming experiences of my life, even Sekiro wasn't this bad

I kept the wooden sword from a fight before and spammed left click. He'd always get hit by the first one, block 2nd and get knocked down by the 3rd. Kept doing it and chunked a pretty fair amount of hp off him. I guess my only suggestion would be to make the most of your surroundings and keep any weapon with you.

Yea, this fight was definitely not fun... just beat it tonight first try on normal but he ate through my healing pretty quick. Unlock quick guard ASAP if you can so you can put your guard back up after his opener guard breaks. From there, I found corner spamming him worked decently, and as mentioned before baiting out his leap attacks that have longer recoveries to abuse.

Personally I just rage quit of the boss immediately AFTER him in the next chapter (not naming names to avoid spoilers). The amount of ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ in that fight if you didn't build properly (which with the normal game is fine since you have free mode to farm but not here, oh no, here if you didn't build right you're ♥♥♥♥♥♥ hours in) is absurd. Honestly the entire early Seijima section is pretty much garbage from a design standpoint. They give you glorified beast mode Kiiryu from previous games, and then throw everything that just flat out hard counters it at you from the start with very few resources. Oh, here's a mobile boss that you cant land charge attacks on, oh lets throw a sniper so you have to keep moving... when playing a character who forces you to sit still to get the most out of his kit.... or an absolute unit that just quick steps, parry counters, and has a straight punch that would make ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ One Punch Man blush that CHUNKS you, AND usually follows it up with a heat move meaning half your health gone right there.... or usually just death....

The only thing keeping me from just skipping this one is the plot and hoping I never have to touch Saejima ever again.

that's why there is an achievement for playing the game on Normal and not switching to easy. Yeah, that is a boss you need to plan for. Even in my other playthroughs i still have to follow a guide to make sure I get all of the weapons and dodge the sniper bullets just so I have enough energy to take him on in the end.

Thaf achievement is sooo stupid because youd have to play the entire game 3 times to get all achievements. The normal diff for this achievement. Hard to simply unlock legend diff then legend for the final achievement

What community? The Yakuza series does not have a community. GTA: San Andreas to this day sold more copies than the Yakuza series as a whole did.
As for Yakuza 3 you must have played some alternate reality version of it as there was no point within the game when I was having fun.

Imagine the biggest action game in the world selling more copies than a niche JRPG that was exclusive to one platform for 15 years.

I guess Final Fantasy has no community either, GTA V sold more than FF 1 - XII

I won't be afraid to admit that I got passed the mission with mods as a last resort. The game is supposed to be more balanced but to me it doesn't seem to be any different to 3. I am now onto the Tanimura missions. I hope that 5,6 and 7 will be more balanced but we will see. Still those fecking soppy cop chases and the lovely Game Over screens as well? Sorry Sega but this isn't 1991 anymore. I have long passed that year mate.

Yakuza 3 is just tedious - not hard.

Yakuza 4 is fun as hell fair game combat wise even on fresh start legend/ex-hard without healing (I've played every Yakuza game with max difficulty for first fresh playthrough). Insane quality upgrade in terms of combat (and not only in combat) compared to 3 even while being built on same engine and combat foundations.

Yakuza 5 is just unresponsive floatier version of 4 with some new additions in combat being just dissapointment.

Yakuza 6 is just horribly halfassed pre-alpha version of Kiwami 2, only Yakuza 3 is worse.

Didn't played 7 and won't play it in milion years (until they remade it on yakuza 0 engine or something lmao) so can't say anything about it.

Yakuza 3 is just tedious - not hard.

The first time i played Yakuza ever , it was in somewhere around 2018 , when Yakuza 0 came out on Steam , i must say i found the game REALLY hard ! i had to finish Yakuza 0 in easy mode (and it took me a bunch of healing item) once i finished Yakuza Kiwami 1 i decided to play the game in normal difficulty... Never had a problem since then ! I finished every yakuza avalaible on Steam without much trouble ! Yakuza 5 is one of the best Yakuza to me (and many other from what i heard , seen) Yakuza Like a dragon is a very fun game. I think you should stop Yakuza , this is not made for you , if you can't really enjoy any Yakuza other than "0" which is one i love the less by the way. This game is defntly not made for you mate grow up. Anyway this is offtopic.

btw I've finished Y0, K1, K2, Y3, Y4, Y5 and Y6 where only with Y3 and Y6 I was forcing myself to play just to "expierience whole story and be done with it", really adored this series which made me play Yakuza after Yakuza but after all I must say that every Yakuza game I've played has many flaws - some have more some less.

Well Squerol , i don't know why you bring this in that topic.
I must admit yakuza 6 gameplay wasn't the best and it's one of the worst because the combo feel very lame. Except this All Yakuza were good in a way. I don't think you understand Yakuza 3 is from 2008 , yakuza 4 is from 2010 , and yakuza 5 from 2012 , Ofc every game has their weak point but in general Yakuza from 0 to Yakuza like a dragon (which you said , you won't try unless they re make it into yakuza 0 gameplay ?) is good and worth is price. I don't see what you try to explain here , i'm not even a Fanboy if a game bore me i won't play it more than 1h.

We all need to grow up , anyway this is still off topic , just open a thread about the worst Yakuza and that's it.

Don't know why people always complain about difficulty in Yakuza games, I've played 0 to 4 and the only challenging thing that I remember to struggle was ultimate battle vs Sera in Yakuza 0.

They are amazing games btw just saying that they never feel unfair as many people say.

The trick here is to evade and punish the AI but FFS mix it up a bit and the AI will find it tougher to predict your pattern.
