My game starts lagging from Chapter 4 after he sees the dead body in the bar. Please advise

revelation and dynamic intro audios are out of sync with the cutscene itself, hope you can fix this asap

I did Ultimate Match - Sprint - Team Match 4 where you do a harder version of the Sugiuchi boat chase sequence at the end of Part 3 of the story. I got this weird "game data save failed" message when the screen giving you the controls for the boat popped up.

After I beat it, I couldn't save at all when I load up my Premium Adventure save, just bringing up the same "game data save failed" message. Then I exited the game, tried to open up the game and it WON'T WORK ANYMORE. I just get a black screen and the "game data save failed" message again but closing it or pressing OK on it will just make the message pop up again. Even closing the game itself won't get of of the "game data save failed" message. I had to use Ctrl+Alt+Del to get rid of it.

I fixed it by deleting roaming files related to Yakuza 4 but I lost my "game clear data" so I couldn't access Ultimate Match anymore so I had to reload a save before the final boss and beat it again.

To test this, I reloaded a save in the story before the boat chase with Sugiuchi to do it again and I now have the same problems with that error message again after I closed the game and tried to open it again: I just get the black screen and the "game data save failed" message that won't go away without Ctrl+Alt+Del. I guess I'm gonna delete files and have to redo the final boss again to re-unlock the Ultimate Matches menu. I guess this also means that it's impossible for me to do all the Ultimate Matches and be able to save the progress afterwards. I dont know how to fix this.

there's some prerequisites you have to do first. and if you break from any of them, you have to start over.

#9 - The Hills Have Noise
Complete "Floriography", then go to Tenkaichi Alley, specifically Public Park #3. You'll see two punks in there moaning about their leader being gone, and how someone went stomping through Kamurocho Hills before Kiryu got there. Next, go to the MEB and you'll see two guys nearby talking about noises in the Hills at night. Go to the construction site via West Park at night and go up to the main stairs. Press X to listen near there and you'll end up facing former champion at the Coliseum Gary Buster Holmes. Face him in a bout. He's not nearly as difficult as the high-level Coliseum fighters, but he's no slouch either. Once he's beat, he'll give you a Seal of the Dragon.

I've done literally all of Kiryu's substories except for this one, and I talk to the two guys at public park 3, the substory itself shows up in the substories menu, but the green question mark icon doesn't go away and there's no one at the MEB to talk to about this.

I can't remember exactly, they may be inside MEB or on the corner near it. There should be some speech bubbles over their heads iirc. but make sure you exhaust the dialogue from the two guys at the park.

Alright so it turns out the real way to fix it was to find the save data location <Steam-folder>\userdata\<user-id>\1105500\remote\ rename that 1105500 folder, run the game, rename it back and then delete the new 1105500 that was generated. Now I can run the game normally again. I still don't know if the Sugiuchi boat chase still breaks/corrupts/whatever the hell keeps the game from running correctly after I close it.

The game doesn't think I have any save data right now. It's all gone. There's nothing to load. It still knows that I have access to New Game Plus, Premium Adventure, Ultimate Matches, and every cutscene including substory cutscenes. I still can't load any data. I put 200 hours into this thing.

Guess I'm starting over on hard.

if you've been using cloud saves, you can absolutely get your save files back any time and put them in your local folder manually. Just google 'steam save file manager.' If not using steam cloud, turn it on now.

I launched it for the first time yesterday, played without any problems, was getting sleepy so I saved and exited. I've launched the game 4 times now and it keeps changing the resolution of my icons on my PC before crashing. Can you please patch this up? I really want to continue my journey through the Yakuza universe and this bug is preventing me from doing so.

Recently started playing yakuza 4, game was working fine, then next day i run game there is no voice in main story cutscenes, music is working but there is no voice acting, tried restarting game and even opening cutscene has no voice and just music sometimes has music and side effects but no voice help, tried reinstaling and if there are files in game missing from steam but everything is there

Someone else said to change the audio to stereo because 5.1 surround doesn't work sometimes.
