it's supposed to be uncomfortable. It's supposed to feel wrong. Taiga spent 25 years without even a scent of a woman. Does his reaction make it right? No, but it does make it understandable. It's also what clues Kiryu in on the fact that Taiga was an inmate who recently got out (regardless how).

What I found odd though was Haruka's reaction to it. The blushing and smiling. That's the part I don't get

When I saw it, I felt like Taiga wanted to assert dominance over Haruka, like he wanted her to give him answers or make her not scream for help.
It's strange, because I tend to be perverted and didn't see the lewdness.

i think Sajima is assexual from a life of being in the yakuza, thinking he killed all those people and being jailed for 25. The fact he shows little interest in hostess clubs and is completely oblivious to sexual innuendos speaks volumes.

But yeah, that one moment was weird where his animal instinct kicked in but then he caught himself before he let it give in.

It's more weird that Kiryu saw it and didn't immediately taiga drop Saejima into the sun. Makes Kiryu look pretty irresponsible as a father to be honest.

Haruka has been kidnapped so many times that him looking irresponsible is par for the course in any situation.

She's like what, 14 or something? It's super weird because they don't really tell you her age and you still consider her a child given how many games you've played when she was a child. Even in Yakuza 6 it's hard to really consider her an adult given her looks. She's always looked like a child to me. (no spoilers for 5 or 6 please)
