Keeps auto walking upward and won't allow me move down

I would seriously love to play this game more but for some reason it won't allow me to move down, and my character just keeps auto walking upward. I can move left or right, but overall not being able to move down just gets me stuck in places and allows for an easy kill for other players.

What is even weirder is that when I first started the game a couple weeks ago, my character would also auto walk upward, but would also allow me to move down if needed. Now I can't move down at all.

I restarted, and reinstalled the game, as well as checked my key bindings.How is there such a ridiculous bug? Please fix this and add controller support while you're at it.

YES!!! I have the same problem!! How can a simple game have a bug like this? I don`t think reinstalling will do it, so i am really afraid that there will be no solution for this...

Is there anything you guys could tell me that may make it so that we can understand the bug better? What keyboards, what setups, do you use a joystick, did you experience this issue before, did you try resetting keybinds in the game, etc?

i have no controllers plugged in. i have been playing fine since i first downloaded the game. the problem just started happening for me just now where i auto walk down and left. i reset keybinds even though i already play default but it still happens.

My keyboard is a Logitech G510s. W10 64bit, 16 GB Ram, GTX 1070, AMD FX 6300 Six Core

I have not tried resetting the keybinds and don't use a joystick

Using a standard Dell laptop. Worked fine before the update but after starting the game today my character was perma stuck moving left. What all I've tried

-Reinstalling
-Resetting keybinds
-Restarting PC
-Unplugging/Replacing keyboard

Thought the issue might've been a glitch with something in the game so I even tried unequiping the new Red Panda but that solved nothing

I am playing in a Lenovo notebook,default control settings, windows 8.1, freshly installed Bombergrounds, i have a ps3 controlled plugged in but not in usage, i couldn't play it normally one single time. This bug happens in single multiplayer and party multiplayer.

i didnt see an update? i tried uninstalling again and re dling it but it still auto walks down and left

We are noticing that users that experience this issue typically have some kind of controller adapters installed, or Joy2Key, VJoy etc.

Is that the case for any of you here?

These are typically used for gamecube controllers, playstation controllers and so on.

yes i play on a dolphin emulator with a 4 port gamecube controller adapter for wii u and pc, so i have vjoy installed
