Rooms and demands...

Can you have all beds in 1 house...or do they alla need separate houses ?
I have houses at 10x8 now and thy still not 100% happy....

Initially your colonists are completely happy to all share a bed room. However, as you grow and add more colonists, the colonists who have been with you the longest will start to demand more and more. At first they will just want their own bedroom. This bedroom can still be in a shared house, but eventually even that wont be good enough. They will, after around 6 colonists, start to demand their own homes. This needs to be a structure all their own with no shared walls. Get your colony large enough and they will want not just a home, but a large multi-room home.

Your people will consider a room a decent size if it is 5x5, or larger. The largest house they will want will be up to 5 rooms. So the biggest house you will ever need is one with 5, 5x5 rooms. For me personally, I like to make homes 5x10, with a wall inside making it into two 5x5 rooms. I can then expand the house with a second floor giving me 4, 5x5 rooms. Its compact and keeps them happy. If I ever go large enough for them to demand the 5th room, its easy enough to add another floor.
