I am curious about the clear speed, I'm running a ret build so it's kinda similar in that I have to run close to an enemy.
But if you manage even with shield resets between floors on battlefield you're probably fine in the forge.
I'm still looking for a worthwhile huntress build to clear forge faster than my ret knight without being at risk of death, minion build is kinda fancy but once I summon ~300 skeletons my PC starts chugging xD
also apparently W10 just deletes 200k health minions in seconds...
- For the second Nostrus trial I ran a Forge at W8 with only one slightly spooky moment where there was a bit too much lag (due to some invulnerable enemies stacking up) and I got stuck on some geometry. Ended up taking probably 30k damage off of my thornbite health but was immediately fine the moment I could move again. I'm fairly sure I could do the W10 run, I'm just wary because of the amount of lag I sometimes experience in the Forge.
- Shield resets aren't too bad because the opening room is always clear so you're free to cast smoke screen. You can also just stay in the starter room to ramp up your inner fires if you want... with over 100 max fires (with buffs up I think I've seen as high as 120? I just did a single floor of Slorm temple and had 105 at the end) it is VERY EASY to off-screen most enemies in a battlefield without them even gaining line-of sight with you.
I thought I got it from somewhere on google because I wasn't on the discord at the time, but I don't know for sure. All I know is the initial concept was someone else's and I've just done work on what reapers are viable, and what ancestral tree combos work (but most of that isn't in this guide because they're so marginal).
