The Slormancer

The Slormancer

Trying to understand the "end game" progression
I'm just level 52 but I find myself trying to understand the battlefield, temple, forge mechanics. It seems we have to get elder slorm to get access to the temple to get pure slorm to get upgrades from the wizard to get more elder slorm capacity to get to higher levels in the forge to get more items to go deeper in the battlefield to get more elder slorm to get more pure slorm to survive longer in the forge to get better gear?

I'm confused LOL. I love this game, but this seems grindy (I enjoy the grind) and almost forced filler. I can only do just a little battlefield to get enough elder slorm or I feel like i'm wasting time until I can get higher capacity elder slorm. This loop feels unintuitive, I'm still having a ball with it.

There are reapers that increase elder slorm and pure. As far as end game content its lacking. Its pretty much a grind game. That's basically end game content right now.

End game is basically surviving the 100 Waves of the Forge on Difficulty X. Gives around 1 inventory and a little bit extra of gear with powerful stats.

No Uber bosses yet.

That's awesome, I didn't know there was a reaper that increases elder slorm capacity. I will look for that one. Thank you.

That's fine, i'm just killing things and enjoying the combat. It's like getting the loot rush of diablo/POE in an little 8oz cup.

Adventures -> you earn lots of mats, and elder slorm. You can spend elder slorm on the temple, and on the forge.

The temple gives you pure slorm, that allows you to upgrade the chances for pure affixes, also the range of these, they start at 10% extra value of the max range you can get by crafting, and end up doubling the value. Also you get the ultimate stones, that allows for a stat to be fixed at a value so you can invest in other things on your gear.

On the forge you get the materials and the runes you can use to boost your power temporally. Also if you manage to do 100 waves is the best place for rare gear, and if you're lucky with the effects, you can earn a LOT of gold.

yes true, but i would love to see more content for what we have right now. Quest would be interesting. A use for slorm, witch i have 30 mill of. The hack and slash gets a bit less engaging after a few waves. The game needs just a bit more in my opinion. Yes i know its still being updated.
