The Slormancer

The Slormancer

Mana
The game itself is actually fun, a lot in fact, but I've just come from the graveyard to the prison and it's kind of, that's enough, . My mana regeneration is a disaster, 1-2 hits and then I have to walk around to charge. Am I doing something wrong? There aren't any potions to buy anywhere, are they? What can I do differently?

You use a stat on gear called mana regeneration in order to... Well generate mana.
The number one reason you "suddenly" run out of Mana way faster is that you enabled skill effects that increase mana cost by more than you can handle.

If you don't have the mana economy to do that, instead pick perks that don't increase it or increase it by less. Some builds require way less mana than others so I suspect you went for an absolute mana drain build without considering getting regen first.

Potions don't exist.
Mana is an early game problem for sure. Solved late game by % mana leech. Until then mana regen rings are the way to go. As I don't think mana on hit or kill are any good either even at low level.
Mana-gen on the socket tree is also lacking at the moment, but with how much is visible it's simply not a thing there anyway. All crafted on gear...wasting a slot with the current balance economy.
Until you don't start much later to scale damage, both mana regen, and mana on hit may cover the issue. Then Mana Leech will do.

"On hit" can work but is very build dependent. You need something with many projectiles or individual hits to make enough mana back from every cast/attack. My rogue uses a mix of on hit and leech, and I really feel losing either
