Fate Crusher - Staff of the Seven about zero proc chance when I have affinity

Why are all of the my chances for something to proc zero? Do I need to to get affinity BEFORE forging the staff?

It is not talking about the affinity you buy from Cory!
The description says: "Chance to spawn is equal to the total of Affinity Levels on your equipment". And that's exactly it, when you have Affinity stats on your equipments, the chance goes up.

Thank you so much for the clarification! But now... how do i get affinity on items? I haven't noticed any affinity on items yet.

Gear either drops with Affinity or you can go to Friedrich the blacksmith, he can reforge your items. One of the options adds a Reaper Stat, using up Slormandrites of Harmony.

There might be other ways that I don't know of.

Besides affinity levels on gear, the best way to make Fate Crusher viable is the Legendary Glove, "Fate-Handler, Glove of the Seven", as it gives a flat +10 affinity to all effects on the reaper
