Start now or wait for 1.0
Hi all,

I've played games that seem linked to this one (Grim Dawn, POE2, Death must Die...) and am really interested for this game but I have some questions:
- does it run well on steam deck? I have a PC but currently play other games on it, as I'm traveling a lot this one seems a very good game if it runs smoothly on it.
- should I wait for 1.0 to grab it, it's not a question of money as I prefer to buy it full price to support the Devs, but will I have to redo things if I start now and 1.0 drops? I saw the patch notes and the seem to be end game oriented so I don't know.
Thanks!

1. People say it runs well on steam deck. Menus are maybe a bit awkward, but acceptable
2. You can either start and get updated, or play 1.0 on the experimental branch and rename your save on May 13th. Either way seems fine

I haven't bought the game yet but I will soon

you can start now, honestly it might take a bit to get to the 1.0 content anyway

You can safely start now. You can test the content from 1.0 in the experimental branch right now.

Progression won't be wiped.
Just to note, people keep asking, and I have absolutely no clue why because it's a single player game where everything is stored client side, if their saves will be deleted and have to start fresh. There is absolutely no reset in a single player game, so you're safe to start in that regard without having to worry about your save getting removed or overwritten.
There are some early access single player games that wipe saves on some big updates for technical reasons. Slormancer did it in one of the first updates, because save transfer wasn't ready yet.

Games generally won't do it after early access, but in early access it happens (but not this time).
