Could you please tell me when the end of April is? Is it possible to get an almost 1.0 beta version experience on Steam?

He said the video for the release date will be ready by the end of April. He also said we won't need to wait 2 months for the 1.0 release once the video releases.

They have delayed stuff far too many times for the past year, that I have zero hype now.

They'll announce at the end of April that the game will be released sometime by the end of the year. They've been saying for over a year now that it's almost finished, it's finished, it's coming out soon.

They're probably struggling with perfectionism, it's easy to get stuck in a loop of thinking it isn't good enough and needs just a few more tweaks to be ready, especially for a 1.0 release.

Also, they've never once said anything about it being finished last year. The anger towards two people, by impatient people is absolutely ridiculous. You make gamers look really bad.

I mean, I'm still playing the game and will continue playing it. What I meant, is that I lost the hype of "Oh my God, is releasing next week!". It'll be ready when it's ready

That's correct, no more than 2 months after the announcement trailer. And now that they decided to keep releasing stuff over the years even if the game doesn't do that good (sold copies wise), they will have more time to keep improving the game after release.

The game still have some issues, but those I detected, are related to script errors that can be fixed really fast. If the Warlords endgame mode is really good, the game will be set for release.

But it's something that is readily available since the annoucement directly in the Chronicle:

What I can also say is that the game’s release won’t be too far off from the announcement. You won’t have to wait two months between the reveal and the actual launch. But enough teasing—more news is coming soon!

Actually, they talked several times (in 2024) of a possibility of the game being done and released in 2024. They didn't promised anything and even less gave a set date. But they talked about it.

Oh! I do remember that tidbit. That was in November? IIRC? Possibly October? Then The dev saw that it was a lot more than could be handled in that time frame and changed it to 2025.
