Huntress sharpshooter of the wild build help?
Still am not that skilled with making builds yet. I recently started the game, and now my Huntress is at level 32. I have arrow shot and finesse, and have tried going for a faster attack speed, pierce, and the "bow of the sharpshooter" reaper, where standing still gives me more arrow shots.

The problem is I feel I could make a better build for higher damage, yet when I try going for more arrows per shot or more critical strike chance instead of attack speed, it consumes too much mana, or I don't do as much damage as I was. Getting between 1k-1.3k damage usually on arrow shot, and 2.7k-3.5k on finesse. Yet I have heard other builds getting better numbers than that by this level, so just not sure what to do.

I use a good arrow shot build, but i can't tell what your problem is other then the fact that your using finesse, which is an unpopular melee skill requiring you to get really close to the enemy. If you like Arrow Shot though there are alot of builds on youtube that show you how they work. A lot of those builds though have been nerfed interms of damage and projectile amount but the stats are just less, not different.
One thing I think you maybe might have overlooked is the mastery level. You gain substantial damage from it and scales a lot more with gear mastery points.
Theres also a legendary item that adds immortal arrows to wandering arrow which is the best secondary for damage imo, but its a late game acquisition. Alternately in the meantime I would use Rain of Arrows as its a great CC ability even though its knockback was nerfed in the latest patch.
Another thing it could be is which reaper are you using. In the patch released today there was a 45% nerf to "The most powerful bow", so more investment is needed to get enough damage out of it for the same content.

My recommendation would be to try and level up to 40+ or so to get mostly Epic items (Yellow pieces of gear) equipped so that you can Forge Skill Mastery and Attribute Masteries. To solve your mana problem the previously mentioned masteries will increase your DPS by a lot and then forging some mana leech (once you reach a decent DPS you will sustain mana with no issues whatsoever), mana on hit, mana regen or mana on kill will mostly fix the mana problem of your build. Had the same issues when leveling.

Best leveling spot for mostly anything is Mage Academy IV. Temppopotamus' Bastion, run in and open the 3 breaches (or do them 1 by 1) and murder all the monsters for Godly XP gains or just do Expeditions on whatever your comfy on. Find a Slormreaper that scales Raw Damage the best until you find (or evolve) the one you wanted

I made a totem build that absolutely shreds content (so far anyway) Its only for farming atm so I can respec and reforge to the Stab Crit Strike Blade Vortex version of it. Hope it helps don't know why i told you what I'm playing but maybe it can help you try something different and fresh.

mana leech on bracers, max mana and mana regen on rings.

Thanks for the suggestions everyone. I switched to the architect build and leveling that up. May try to do something with sharpshooter again in the future, but totems are cool to use.
