Staff of Necromancy
Finally some kind of summoning option as place holder I love it so far!

but I think the pets need a litte bit more movement speed maybe they should scale with the player. also they seem very buggy sometime they just stay around and do nothing or wiggle around (it feels like they have a range and cant decide to move back to the player or to the enemy then they wiggle like crazy) it's rare but it happens. it would also be nice if the pets would split up more and don't clumb so much.
overall a very nice update again thanks :)
cheers

i've seen this with the mini reaper. it seems like minions have problems navigating corners and sometimes just wiggle in place.

Just found the Necromancy staff, does the increased minion damage also apply to my 3 summoned clones ?

Clones are totems, not minions, so they won't benefit from increased minion damage stat.

Really?? I build a lot of minion damage on my mage and wondered why it did nothing. There's such a confusion between totems and minions

It's not really obvious at first what is a summon and what is a totem. You have to find the keyword in the right tooltip.

The best way to differenciate is by checking if it moves or not:
- if it moves, it's a summon;
- if it doesn't move, it's a totem.

The clones don't move, they are totems. The skeletons moves, they are summons.

Oh, wow. I did not know this. Thanks, Peredur. Helpful as always. :happy_yeti:

As far as the Reaper goes, it's different and fun. The Skeleton Squire's damage is decent but I feel like the skeletons could use more health, or a sizable amount of area of effect damage reduction. I admit, my mana pool is nowhere near as large as it could be but a lot of enemies just obliterate them within seconds because they have no sense of self preservation. The bats (especially) just chew them up like nothing. Even if I had double (or triple) the amount of mana as I do now, I don't see their ability to survive against the bats or on higher Wrath levels improving much.

I feel like it would be nicer if they just automatically cast Unstable Bones on themselves upon dying as well. With how they tend to group up, it's often close to impossible to blow up specific ones that are on the verge of death in battles in order to best make use of the Reaper's last evolution bonus. In large battles, I usually can't even tell if one died or not without looking at my mana bar.

I haven't unlocked the primordial version on this one yet though, so maybe it will change.
