Are epic items the best tier or are there legendary items?

There are legendary items but there are pretty rare in this early access version as the end game modes don't allow to maximize your rewards yet

Just found my first legendary item and it is not a seperate rarity like magic rare or epic.

A Legendary item can be a magic item aswell. The Legendary modifier is applied to the base of the item.

My legendary item was a legendary magic item and thus only had 2 modifiers.

Around 25 hrs in, found 1 epic chest which happened to be really good. No leggies so far. I wonder how much bravery will affect this (mf qt and ql stats) in the end as the expeditions scale pretty nicely.

Yep, with enough ressources, you could create the "perfect item" from a simple white one from scratch :D

all items that drop that you dont pick up get highlighted on the map blues are blue circle and such. so i havnt found a legendary roll yet but i guess its orange.

found a legendary 20min ago.There in the game but there very very very rare.BUT i like it.

I'm sitting at like 7 or so? in 12 hours, ironically most of them have been pauldrons.
