Attack speed / cooldown reduction to whirlwind?

the question is :
Does channeling whirlwind benefit from attack speed or cooldown reduction？

i didnt test it my self but i read that someone mentions that chenneled skills do not profit by attack speed

attack speed only affect the cooldown on whirlwind not it's hit rate. When you stop channeling the skill goes on cooldown and have to wait before channeling again.

attack speed affect whirlwind if you use its final modifier.

Same for magician ray, he tick 4 time/sec, with more attack speed he always tick 4/sec not more
