Don't use the spell for its basic damage, it shines elsewhere.
I also thought it was useless before I got pretty far into its perk tree, it's just a pain in the *** to get there.
put it on autocast, get some hp regen, find enemy elite. go away and do whatever you usually do. Come back to see it at a high tier.
This does not work with specific skills like the ones that require holding down and re-releasing.
Oh yes the developer has built autocast into the game without his/her own knowledge. Its an autocast nearly all arpg games have built in by default. E.g. blizzard had it built in d3 and after ages removed it as part of a hotfix (when the develppers found out). Some other games havent removed it. like last epoch and this game. Last epoch developers said that they dont mind. makes the builds that require autocast eery 5/10 seconds more friendly
check youtube for numlock videos for last epoch or other games.
I wasnt sure it would work here, but it does.
please note it doesnt work well for all skills. Like arcane barrier is pretty bad, since it just keeps it up non stop and well that doesnt level it,
Im not sure if the developer will disable it, so might not work in future updates.
just pick the node that give you mana based on your mana regen and you have infinite mana pool
