Make your own game like this with MP then. The answer isn't lazy to not want to overhaul your entire game so a select few of people can play with their friend. Your response was incredibly insulting and belittling.
For a "Game developer", I would request you check out tutorials on manners and respect for a devs vision on their own products.
the internet is pretty predictable. if you post sth anywhere there are always the same types of person. the worst are people, if you criticize something or give tipps how to make sth better they will always respond "HUUUUUH; THEN DO IT BETTER! DO YOUR OWN GAME" ....yeah thank you. i dont need a tutorial in manners and respect. i already told you that their argument was pretty lazy. its not about OVERHAULING a whole game. that would be way to complicated. i know that. its the first step you make. deciding whether you make it single player or multiplayer. no matter the decision. the learning process is the same. its their first game, so they needed to learn everything. they made the decision to make it singleplayer and its okay. but dont come with such an lazy explanation. have a nice day Monsieur Bleezip.
A good developer acknowledges potential limitations of their projects, which they have done here. Much better than many games with too many promises and too many ideas that go nowhere.
Out of curiosity, Mr. "Developer" what games have you made? Given it's such a lazy excuse according to your deluded mindset, I would love to see a list of games you've created. Given your profile picture, I hope it isn't Sonic 06 - Seriously though, a list of titles you've created and worked on would be nice to see.
also pretty default answer besides "DO IT BETTER" ... "uhh show me what you have done" ... yes thats how it works. i make it better and show my list of created games and suddenly the devs decide to make multiplayer or what? aha.... aha ....
So basically you have no actual games or creations to show regarding your alleged claims as a developer. Right, so you're just full of ♥♥♥♥. Got'cha.
You're the one who claimed to be a fellow developer, all i'm curious about is what titles you've worked on or created. Something I don't think someone in that industry would be too concerned to share - and if anything would be quite proud to showoff.
If anything, given your excuse of telling them it was lazy as an excuse, I think it's only fair we get to criticize your titles and give recommendations and suggestions regarding missing features or things that should be simple enough to add.
Like are you an indie dev? Did you work for a larger company? A modder and if so was it a collaboration with a team, was it more individual smaller scale things? These should be easily answered and proven.
The guy can't even prove what games he's worked on when I called him out on it.
When someone claims to be a developer and acknowledges that it would be easy to add, I don't know about you but I tend to want actual evidence of that alleged drivel they spewed.
So, yes it absolutely is relevant. Clearly the game is not intended for that individual or people who want it as a feature. So they can move on and find something more suitable to their tastes.
The thing is, I haven't claimed to make a game and exclaim how easy it is to add a feature. A dev already responded by saying it is something they'd like, but not something they have experience in and the game isn't designed with it in mind.
Please read things in the future, it makes you look less foolish.
