I had to refund because its unplayable like this. Will re-purchase if it gets fixed.
hey ! any news on this issue / a hypothetical patch ? it's hard to enjoy the game in this condition... which is a bummer since it seems great on pretty mech every other aspect !
Try using OVR advanced settings to recalibrate your floor manually within SteamVR. Oculus Link has so many issues and facebook doesn't care at all. I guess they don't want it to work well as they want people to stay away from PC VR with quest headsets as other stores can actually sell games there aside from facebook themself... Glad I switched to Reverb G2 now. Sound is a hole different level, image quality is perfect (no artifacts like quest+link) and the 90hz is a major difference for my nausea in some games.Never had any issues since using that headset instead of the quest + link. :) Just wish the batterylife on the controllers was as good as quest 2 instead of being the same as quest 1 while using 2 batteries... but sadly there is no perfect VR headset currently. Still prefer G2 over quest by a huge margin. Maybe in a year or two we finally get a headset that does it all. :) True wireless PC VR (like vive wireless adapter can already do) with controllers like valve index (but tracked by headset with inside out tracking), the sound system of index/G2 (very good headphones but not touching the ears), screen of the G2 and batterylife of Quest 2. And maybe full body inside out tracking. Was fun in VR chat the one time I tried it at a friend who has the vive body trackers. That would be an instant buy for me.
