Bug Reports

[Keystone Knight]

Kind Gentlemen of the Internet, we probably missed a few bugs during testing.
If you encounter any bugs, crashes, or performance issues, please post them below.

If you come across any game-breaking issues, let us know and it will be patched as soon as I see them.

Known Issues:
-Some framerate drop in larger maps.
-Transitioning to new uncached areas sometimes displays the area before all of the visuals have been fully loaded.
-Some lag displaying character busts.

When you fight the tendie poacher in the Forest of REEEE and win, he walks off to the left, and then the game just completely freezes and you have to force close it. This occurs if, instead of walking through the middle of the map and having him stop you, you walk up directly next to him and talk to him. https://i.imgur.com/JjxtGjf.png

EDIT: Additionally, on the fight where you return to Fratville and fight all 4 of them, if you save while you're in Fratville, you cannot get back to the world map, meaning if you're too weak to complete the fight, you're basically ♥♥♥♥♥♥.

Just finished the game, here's a collection of all the typos I found in the text:

I missed some that aren't in there, check your spelling of the word "tentacle," in a lot of scenes it was "tenticle"

Also, how do you do the "Message for M'lady" quest? I couldn't find Stacyville.

This is great. Thank you for compiling this. I released a small patch just now to address all of these issues. Being able to leave the final Fratville fight was a good call.

During the Fratville party, Misty mentions that she showed up with her friend Kayla(who the note is for). You can find Kayla downstairs before speaking with Tabitha.

Not sure if this is a bug, but I'm unable to get the steam overlay to work with the game. Had to do some workarounds to get my Steam controller to work.

Also, when running the game it has fps in the 10-20's and stutters bad. Tried all kinds of options in compatibility tab and nvdia control panel with no luck.

I was able to get it to run smoother and at 60fps by making a shortcut and adding it to Steam. Then running it that way. Still stutters at times but doesn't drop below 50 fps and is at least playable now.

Hey BeepBoopBop,
Thanks for the report. Is there a certain area of the game that's giving you bad performance or are you just getting bad performance everywhere?
I'll post an update tonight that's going to compress a lot of the parallax background images, which should help with possible performance issues.

It's everywhere if I launch it through steam. If I run it through a shortcut it seems to do fine however. Not really sure why that's the case.

Edit:

I posted this before playing the new update. Whatever you did seems to have fixed it. I can launch it through steam and the fps stays around 60. I like the new aspect ratio also! Thanks for this great game.

Still no steam overlay. Would that be something that would possibly be fixed in a future update?

Edit 2:

After playing a little bit, seems like the issue still happens in Anime Outskirts and to a lesser extent, Flavortown and Danksville. (They run fine if I launch through a shortcut)

Thanks the feedback and information. I'll check out those two areas you mentioned and see what could be causing the lag.

As for the steam overlay, you're right- it definitely stopped working. I'll figure out what's going on and post a hotfix.
