TINY METAL has always supported full saving in the middle of a battle.
Thank you very much for the response! I will get this game on my Switch, I think. Are there any major differences between the Switch version and PC version? Will the Switch always get the same updates and patches as the PC version?
Maybe I don't want the Switch version, then. Hmm, tough decision.
. . . and they say there is no mid-mission save. From the review:
"Unfortunately though, Full Metal Rumble does make some of the same mistakes as WarGroove did at launch, in that there’s no kind of checkpoint or save system and it’s entirely possible to spend over an hour on a story mission and lose just at the end – forcing you to start from scratch again. It doesn’t get too silly with the size of the maps though and in that sense at least seems to understand Advance Wars better than its indie rival."
So, you say there is mid-battle save, but this review says there is not.
Please clarify.
Great game, I'm really enjoying it on the Switch!
