Does this Make it good?
So i bought two copies of this game before (on ps4 and swtich) and it shot my dreams of a new AW game in the head. It had cool ideas but none of them went anywhere. Is this worth buying?

Well if you didn't like TINY METAL you probably won't care for this one. It adds a LOT that brings it more closely in line with an AW game (co powers, passive abilities, merging units to combine health pools, etc) but the core gameplay remains the same.

I think this game is much improved and better from the original tiny metal. I did not like the original either, the lack of COs is disappointing.

Imho this game is the best "advance wars" clone I have ever played. The units are more balanced, CO powers are less broken compared to Advance Wars. Really don't like the AI cheating FOW and me unable to ambush them though. Also later on the AI CO cheats, the one i face in campaign has like "increase atk 5% for all units" passive which is kinda dumb and cheap.

It is also 1000x better than Wargroove. I hope people support this proper game instead of that ugly SJW garbage.

She is tanned. Ever heard of ganguro?

Of course if it's up to me she would be a pale skinned blonde babe but if you look at the big picture this game is still much better compared to that ugly ass wargroove and its tumblrina art.

Uuuh, is Wolfram even a girl? Wolfram is a German male name derived from Wolf (wolve) and hraban => Rabe (raven).

does a girl not being attractive to you make it "sjw?" also I realy liked Wargroove and its art is fine. I'm not a fan of the blush on the nose though.

Unattractive female main character is SJW game design. Mercia look like a generic feminist. Let's not even talk about the supporting casts.

During 90s, every game devs knew that basic game design is male mc or attractive female mc. The whole SJW thing of historical revisionism, forced inclusion, "females purposely made ugly," more than 2 genders in character creation screen, obnoxious western progressive liberal propaganda, obsession to political correctness, etc is a recent development.

I have no Idea if your being serious or not, but it realy has nothing to do with the question at hand though. If you are wondering I did pick up the game and it's almost exactly what I wanted it to be. Still no map maker, custom skirmish, alt units, or colorable cos, but Its a vast improvement.

I can relate with you to some point. I too don't like visual design of heroes in Wargroove. I found them ugly. Though main units are fine in my opinion. In the begining story filled with atrocious "childish" gags and etc. Couldn't care any less so I downloaded 100% save. BUT! Perhaps I didn't played long enough, but didn't noticed any SJW propaganda.

What was the worst for me in the Wargroove - locking 2 (+1 useless hero, makes it 3) playable heroes behind grinding stars from campaing - that is when I draw the line. Specially, if they have kinda "good" powers (big AoE damage and taking control of any enemy unit). You can't use them in multiplayer if you didn't grind it. That's fakking bullpoop!

I wouldn't bother with Wargroove, if game wouldn't have these stuff:
1) Cross-platform MP (With Co-Op and VS);
2) Couch-play;
3) Easy to use map editor (!!!);
4) Working "Fog of War";
5) Different style for factions.

If this game would have all this (Tiny Metal) -> instant buy for me.

Wargroove hero locking practice - disgusting, and so is it's story + overused medival-fantasy setting. I really disliked it, but those features made it a buy for me.

Tiny Metal on the other hand don't have those features (not all of them) and if we're gonna debate about visual style - Tiny Metal have some problems too.
1) It's way too "bright", cartooney;
2) Characters are strange looking (better than in Wargroove for sure) but too Anime;
3) MC are women, but I can't call them attractive (matter of a taste);
4) No Map Editor;
5) No Working fog of war;
6) No different factions;

Both game dont have LAN support - which is giant minus for me.

Ok first of all, Tiny Metal MC is Nathan Gries. He's not women. But yes, the females could be more attractive for sure, but compared to Wargroove's Mercia and her tumblr nose.... not even close. Also Advance Wars women in dual strike and gba games aren't really that pretty either. AW Days of Ruin has pretty girls though (Tabitha best waifu) but the game had much less singleplayer contents. Anyway Wargroove visual design is very ugly and a big turn off in comparison, I would bet 1 million dollars that their character designer is a SJW.

No different factions in tiny metal is compensated with the sheer amount of different units I think. AW doesn't have different factions either.

I personally don't care about multiplayer so I can't comment on that. The single player in this game is definitely better though in my opinion.

Yeah, BloodyPork, I agree that design in Wargroove unappealing 100%.
By the way, Advance Wars did have "factions". I put them in quation marks, because it's actually like this: you have same units, same stats - but visuals are different. Wargroove made 4 factions (Humans, Asians, Undead and Trees)

Here's a google link to image: https://www.google.com/search?q=advance+wars+factions&client=firefox-b-d&tbm=isch&source=iu&ictx=1&fir=Jq78ABZs5tkrGM%253A%252CMMChvZXft86ybM%252C_&vet=1&usg=AI4_-kTJvSrXxy77lemVyl2BHnOqiugCrw&sa=X&ved=2ahUKEwic28268r7jAhUnlosKHYddDc4Q9QEwAnoECAcQBg#imgrc=-G8svs4e8WHqrM:&vet=1

That's the first AW and visuals for each faciton are different, I really like that in AW.
