Ctrl Key does not seem to work

Tried the demo, all was OK except the Ctrl key does not trigger the pick up or use actions if you press it the cursor changes shape to indicate you can interact but when you left click nothing happens. If I click on the Ctrl icon on the toolbar at bottom cursor changes shape and left clicking you can pick up and use items a really weird issue that makes game to fiddly as you need to pick up and use items quickly. Does main game have this issue?

i have the same Problem. How did you fix it?

I have not seen the issue in the full game.
