No, there will be only one last update to the game, nobody knows when, and then they cease the development. This game is basically done at this point and they are working on, again, a new project...

Yes. DD2 im pretty sure right now is their biggest money maker. It's dynamically different from DD1/DDA.

Thought I would update this individual. Yes there is an update in PTR testing as we speak (relased today) which adds tavern storage and split screen, along with many other QoL improvements. Goes to live servers in a few weeks to a month (estimate)

Also wanted to add that on their twitch stream today it was teased that there might be some closure as to the floating being we see in the sky on the Summit map. So in the future we may get another content related update (no confirmations though)

I really don't want them to be done with the game though. DD1 is a legend, but in DDA, we don't have a forge we need to return to in order to swap characters, we can't roll negative stats on gear, and we can have a hero be both a battler and a builder at the same time, as the only items that can be either a hero or tower stat are the accessories implicit stats. (I haven't really touched redux, so that info might be outdated)
And although I at first despised the rifted sets, it CAN improve teamwork among friends playing together since you can't rift everything of every hero all at once on one person, so there is potential there.
