Maybe plans changed but that was their main idea in the late 2023/early 2024. I left the discord at that time so no idea what they're up to now.
DD1 and DD2 are getting more love than this one ever did, lol.
Let's hope so!
Is this true? DD:Going Rogue is still in early access. DD:A still feels incomplete. It would be a shame to see them try to move on to making something else without completing and balancing what they currently have.
PC has no splitscreen support, that is on console only.
Since Console can have two characters / accounts playing at once, Chromatic allows PC players to play two accounts at once (whether on the same PC or from two different PCs).
On PC, do not exceed the two player max or you can be banned without notice.
Incorrect!!!! You may be thinking of DD2 which is indeed as you mention. It is actually the reverse atm ONLY PC has 2 player split screen for DDA consoles have yet to be updated. To run a second screen you will need a controller for the second screen. Both players will be playing on the same Steam account though. The second player will have their own inventory and save slot and like DD1 all boss rewards are given to both players. To get the play the second player tou have to go to the ingame menu and "invite" the second player first and pick offline player from the options - online being any other steam account, the split is vertical with the main acc being on the left and second on the right. the second player will then be presented with a table with other save files - if no other split screen file has been created previously a new one ill be made with a lvl1 squire. I am not aware what if any upper limit is in place for the number of splt screen save files you can make, but I do know you can certainly have a few.
Ah! Thank you, yes, I am referring to DD2.
I've checked every time they've had a decent sale to see if there's any. If they had 4-player splitscreen on Switch I would have bought it at launch at full-price.
i highly, highly doubt switch will ever get split screen. they had to gut the hell out of the game to even get it to run at all there.
