On the Kickstarter campaign they very clearly stated that they're going to have split screen co-op on the game. I'm very surprised and disappointed that they went 1.0 without it. I actually haven't even really played the game yet, I'm holding off until proper co-op. Can't wait! :)

Any chance you can confirm how it works exactly? Will it be that each player uses a character from the logged in profile or will they log in themselves?

If it is on the one profile, will they only use the 4 characters in the hero deck? or will each of them have their own deck to choose from characters of the profile?

Thats a great design question. At the moment we are doing performance optimizations so that your computer doesn't Chernobyl when doing split-screen. Not an easy task, after that the designers and UI Ux people do a pass on how best to implement that. Expect more on this around Q4 because split-screen is a goal we hope hope hope to get done for the consoles.

Does it mean no split screen on PC? That would be really bad news for me. Just like the original poster, I bought the game specifically for the split screen, and still haven't started playing (I was waiting for split screen to be implemented so I can play it with my family).

Pretty sure he means that they really want it done before the game releases on consoles, and in no way means it will only be on consoles. If i had to guess the wall they are running into is in fact getting split screen working on the consoles (switch) as well as potato pc's while maintaining an acceptable performance level.

Thanks. For some reason I cannot grasp, there are so many games that do not support split screen on PC even if they do on consoles. Still, I should have read the developer's answer more carefully before reacting to it.

ahh, clarification if it's done on console then it most likely will be done for PC. PC is our focus and where our core fans live.
