Armor choices

Soo, which armor is the best for DPS/building/walling? Or are the looks the only difference?
Right now Im going Militia for DPS and Miner for everyone else.

Look, I give you my opinion. Before Legacy I used Primitive for Towers, Miner for auras, Ancient for walls and Militia for DPS Hero .
viewing the latest settings with the latest update. I am forced to play legacy and get Miner pieces for the rest of my defenses. I think you are correct in terms of armor..
Ancient Armor would only use it for a DPS / Buff Tower monk .
I would use the Guard Armor for a tank with a lot of vitality, like Squire

The differences are kinda minor. I think picking 4 different sets, one for each hero might be a good idea.

I was just using one set per hero to get the set bonuses, but I thought all the armor stats were random and didn't really think certain armor sets served a purpose to different builds.

Each armour type always drops with a certain stat but that's pretty much is, for example:

Miner: Power
Mail: Vitality

But that's really it. Each set bonus is the same, 40%. So technically it doesn't matter which set you use on which hero!

the matching set that gives you the highest stats is what is best...it doesnt matter

Kinda looks like you guys are right, which is a shame :D I thought there would be some depth for builds.
