Money, money, money
I have played several of these Simulator games and as it is always the case with me – and probably other players- I am soon going to sit on a pile of money.
Money makes the world go round but only if it is spend.

Another player already had the Idea of a showroom and I support this strongly.

I have also given some ideas on what to add to the game that will use up some of the cash.

Here however is another idea for making even more money.

External government contracts from the police or armed forces using you and your expertise to outsource weapon maintenance.
For instance you could get a contract from the police to overhaul their arsenal and you would get a counter showing how many guns you need to overhaul and how many you already have done. At the end when you have reached the final count you get paid.
They could appear in the regular E-mail jobs but with a different color of the E-mails header.

Other ideas on spending cash are not limited to consumption items like gun oil, cleaning agents and such – just like the gas bottle in the bluing shop- but also purchasing new machines. Like a CNC that automatically turns the part or an upgrade for the lathe like a drill. I believe I have seen the latter in a pre-release of the game.
A larger storage rack so we can take on more than 4 contracts at a time.
Buying display cases for our own guns and attach them in the shop or the showroom.
An ultrasound cleaning bath to clean gun parts faster.

Lots of great ideas. Beyond that maybe we could eventually buy our own range/gun shop and fully customize it with some super expensive trophy items to spend endgame money on, like military vehicles that could be put on display.

My assumption is they want to get in gun models/mechanics first, stuff to spend your pile of money on later. I didn't think about a showroom which would be sick, but some sort of employee system that'd babysit the CNC or do the lathe would be sweet. More storage/available jobs/auctions, etc.

Instead of needing an email "quest" from grandpa to unlock stations & expensive equipment & supplies, perhaps those things are the money grind & reward system.
Start off being able to clean and do maintenance to firearms via ordering parts. As you level up and gain money, you can purchase equipment to upgrade the shop and unlock new, more advanced jobs. It's not too far off from how the game works, and it just makes more sense.

I love the idea of the display room as well, and could be done the same way as stations/equipment, where they are unlocked FOR PURCHASE at specific levels. Could even have "expansion" unlock/purchasable as you level.

This also ties into another idea id like to see: free building. Being able to purchase the much cheaper raw materials (wood, steel, etc) and freely create your own parts from scratch, thus building guns from scratch. This is very rewarding for getting your level and cash up, to be able to free build guns from scratch.

As you progress levels, new equipment and such becomes avail for purchase, and you become more and more capable, and less dependent on just assembling purchased parts.
Much like in Car Mechanic Sim, you start off with basic, low paying jobs, level up to full tear downs and rebuilds, and eventually you have the skills and cash to restore / build cars yourself to make higher profits.

Everything is already in place for these enhancements, and I have already see some talks on here about similar ideas. The game has some good potential.
