you don't get experience and mastery for repairing weapons bought at auction.
I have a problem with a job where i have to build a custom oak stock for the Brown Bess. I cannot trace the outline of the gun because it is to long for the screen and i cannot shift the workpiece to the side to trace the front end of the stock.
Antique auctions also have problems. After making over 100 requests, I was able to find and purchase the revolver, Mouser's antiques, and the other four additional antiques, but I could not find Brown Bess antiques and replicas.
They appear after you build one to order at auction.
In order to make a replica Brown Bess, a blueprint will be created by creating a new gun from the gun production request created in the update. It will probably only be opened once you reach 3 stars.
I found several antiques of Mauser, Peacemaker and DLC weapons (including Kozienice rifle) except Brown Bess while looking for the Brown Bess over the course of an hour. It must be a bug.
Mastery points can be earned by repairing a gun from a customer, or by completing the disassembly challenge of your own gun.
Try zooming out the camera with your mouse scroll wheel when you are at the woodworking table, this should show the entire block of wood for the gun
