Skip function?

I read that there is a skip function that works for some text in the console version. I read somewhere that the Steam version is supposed to skip using the "O" key but I haven't been able to skip any of the dialogue using this so replays to get CGs/endings is taking a long time. Anyone have any luck?

Thanks, I wound up finishing already by fast clicking through the text but completed everything and got all the CGs so all's good, just took longer then I would have liked.

It's also possible to hold the LB button on a controller to skip/make the dialogs go quicker.
