Operation Bughunt
To start about things, I'm posting here to try and see if some of those issues will be communicated to the developers and also because the Bug reporting forum isnt accessible at the moment. If this topic gets locked, it's alright, as this is only a small part of the things I have noticed playing the first 3 missions for about 3 times each screwing with the AI. I'm doing this for my own reasons, stated below.

Only thing I noticed never produces issues, was Tiny's Decoy. Old toy never disappoints, oi.

Mind you, I plan to stick to 1.01 and finish a whole playthrough, to have a basis what can/might not change in the upcoming patches.

It's a go:

v1.01

General

- game fails to load at startup and brings black screen; you have to press ESC 3 times to get to the main menu - could be related to hardware but i'm not confident
- game freezes upon clicking New Game for few seconds; looks like it doesn't show the loading screen on time
- cutscene in training camp 1 has syncing issues at start, audio stops and then goes back immediately after the scene begins
- ingame menu buttons are overlaid by the map on the pause menu when lower resolution is used, f.e. 1280x1024
- text size in the objective book is too small to barely readable
- "game saved" text in the upper left corner sits on top of the character portraits, f.e. could be moved to the bottom left
- mouse cursor breaks if you put it at the bottom of the map/screen, only when it's at the bottom
- mouse cursor isnt centered properly
- question mark icon above alarmed enemies is blurry; seems like the original icon was only resized
- lower resolutions like 640x480, 720x480, 720x576, 800x600, 1024x768 don't seem to switch, game always remain in the last resolution you used - all other resolutions switch properly
- performance issues start to appear after changing the resolution many times
- the game screen starts zooming in and out indefinitely after switching from lower resolutions to higher resolution, f.e. i've used 1024x768 to 1920x180, the only way to make the game work again is by restarting it completely - NOTE: this might happen even after you restart the game, it's completely random
- performance degradation when using anti aliasing, game slows down to an unplayable state; NOTE - this might be related to hardware capabilities and performance issues
- characters can walk through movable items, barrels, boxes, dead bodies
- issuing multiple orders sometimes fails to register, f.e. if you order the Ssapper to tie a body, the Thief to open a box and then the Sapper to move the body, he won't pick up the body
- mouse cursor sinks behind objects, f.e. the barbedwire fence on Training Camp, should always stay on top
- enemy viewcones sometimes can be seen to not cover certain parts of the ground, as if something invisible is blocking their way - NOTE; this might carry over from the original game, can't remember the exact same behavior tho
- enemy viewcones hide upon opening the pause menu and reappear upon closing it
- there is a noticeable delay when opening the objectives menu, takes like a 1.5 seconds for the menu to pop up; happens randomly and maybe after a quicksave
- loading times during startup and save load can be extra annoying for pre-rendered levels
- when some one of your team is killed, you aren't greeted with the usual screen "One of your men has died" - NOTE: this might be intentional (however I can't see why)
- quicksaves dont always work, if you save and attempt to load it later, you'll be given an older quicksave rather than the latest - NOTE: this might be related to performance, this is also random
- when you select few of your commandos, you can see expanding menu arrows on the interface, but they dont reveal nothing
- when your give your commandos an action to sprint to given spot and you quicksave, once you load the quicksave he will reach a certain point and refuse to move, he would just stop.
- when rotatting the camera through the use of ALT+LEFT-CLICK, there are visible glitches with the objects around only when changing angles
- when you want to take the ammo from a rifle, if you click on the clip, it seems like you've clicked twice
- audio disappears randomly
- zooming in and out in interiors is possible with the use of numpad keys + and -, however this is not yet in possible outdoors - NOTE: aware this is being looked at at the moment
- when expanding the items through the interface, using the grey arrow icon, the on-screen tip says "Cigarette Pack" even though you arent pointing at a cigarette pack, then you cant fold the menu anymore
- initial loading screen with the Green Beret and the sun, looks stretched - NOTE: this may be intentional for the sole reason the original version had textures in only 640x480 resolution
- sometimes enemies won't yell "Alarm" and the rest of the german phrases, instead they are just silent

Animation

- animation of carrying knocked out or dead bodies isnt consistent, e.g. broken
- animation of knocked out by punching enemies is sometimes missing; if you let the enemy wake up and punch him again, it appears to show - NOTE: this is random
- animation of crawling seems strange in a way it feels like the character is a boat, looks a bit slower than in the original version
- animation of crawling for the enemies is faster than for the commandos - NOTE: this seems intentional
- portrait animation on the interface of carrying an object, be it barrel or body, seems static; the character portrait just freezes in one position few miliseconds after the action of picking up was executed and stays static until you drop the object
- animation of grenade explosion happens with 1 second delay
- spinning arrow animation under the selected character's body is blurry
- character portrait animations sometimes shake head without producing the voice they usually do, f.e. if the Sapper says "that's it" once, the character portrait doesnt respond to the voice, but if you click again, the character says something else and shakes head accordingly, or at times the opposite - this seems like synchorinization issues between the played sound and the animation itself
- animations of soldiers when alarmed seems janky, say doesnt run smoothly
- main interface portrait animation of the Green Beret still plays a bit faster, observe how the character blinks each 0.5 ms; while nothing gamebreaking, looks strange

Interface

- the minimap texture feels as different to the main interface, looks like it wasnt retextured fully
- controls seem not to always work and issuing orders that arent even registered by the game gives an impression everything is tied to the performance; if you have lower framerates, the chances game not to be able to execute an order are higher.

Minor picks

- the MP40 texture seems unfitting with the tube being in brown; i'm no WW2 weapons expert but I've never seen an MP40 that has the tube painted in brown.
- the main colour of the cigarette pack, cyan, feels out of place in comparison to other items.
- when you are in the inventory and managing items, the "AMOUNT" value pops above the item you move across the boxes; in short, take an uniform, and move it across another item icon that has quantity, the quantity value is supposed to hide behind the item you move
- most item icons have different looks but the uniforms remain the same

Minor ideas

- add "game saved" label for the hard saves in the Save Menu to know you saved successfully; quicksaves already have this
- add brightness slider in the options

Missing features

- multi-camera views, present in the original, are missing (keys F1 - F9)
- medals screen, present in the original, is missing
- keyed missions tab, present in the original to unlock missions with certain code, is missing
- enemies, present in the original, are missing here and there - NOTE: so far I've noticed this only on Training Camp 1
- cheat codes are missing - NOTE: this is totally optional

Missions

Training Camp 1

- the guard next to the cabin, where the first box with the medkit is located, is missing
- some mine placements were changed, f.e. the mine on the left side of the barrier next to the box
- when the guard on the bottom right corner of the map is knocked out by the Thief and he wakes up, he wont run around depressed and remains on his position comfortably
- mines proportions seem too noticeable, mines almost seen to be bigger than the character
- when loading a save, if you have uncovered a mine, it will pop on the screen about 0.5 seconds after the save was loaded
- enemy viewcones go through walls, f.e. the three officers behind the guard's cabin; if you shoot to catch their attention and you throw a grenade, when they are watching towards you, their viewcones seem to go through the wall
- sometimes you cant pick up the tied enemy's body
- when punching an enemy, sometimes you dont hear the "pwub" sound
- when you tie an enemy, you cant hear the respective sound, but if you load a quicksave after the enemy is already tied, the sound then plays
- when enemies are alarmed and they find some of their guys tied up, once untied they wont do any sound like in the original, instead they will go back to their places
- when you complete all objectives, you can't continue into the next mission; game gives you no indication whatsoever you've complete the mission - NOTE: this doesnt happen each time, seems like rare bug tied to something else not triggering.

Training Camp 2

- cutscene subtitles sometimes remain for much longer on the screen than how they are used to print - NOTE: this might be intentional
- when you kill the first enemy with a knife, the other one turns to at him and will keep staring at you but wont trigger an alarm or start to fire at you; at the time i did this, i was crawling and not moving once i took down the soldier
- enemies and their weapons can clip through boxes, f.e. the rifle soldier hidden behind the box to the north
- sometimes the mission fails out of nowhere, even if the all allies are alive and no indication of mistake you've made - NOTE: this might be rare to see, noticed it 2 times for 1 hour replaying the mission
- sometimes if you're shot at and killed, even though you are dead, you still hear the wound sound effect
- when the Green Beret is near the street railings just to the left of the staircase where the lieutenant and the 2 soldiers are firing at the allies, he can be seen clipping into the railings from different angles, similar to the issue with the movable objects i mentioned before.
- sometimes when you kill an enemy with counterattacks and another one is sitting next to him, in this case, the 2 guys next to the box across the street, who shoot at the ambushed allies, the other enemy wont hear the gunshot at all when it has to - NOTE: this might be just in my case
- when you quick select a commando using keys 1-9, move away from the scene and select another one that isnt in your focus, the camera won't center on him, f.e. select the Sapper by pressing 4, move away from where he is, and press 5 to switch to the Driver, the camera wont center on the Driver instead - NOTE: this may happen with certain commandos, as it works with the Sapper and Green Beret from what I've tested so far. Mind you this happens randomly. May as well be normal.
- when using counterattacks with the allies, the viewcone may point in the wrong direction, f.e. take one of the allies and position it to watch towards the little house with the 2 guards next to the door and activate counterattacks - NOTE: this happens randomly
- the "Obtain contents of the boxes" secondary objective doesnt mark as completed, even after you have looted the 3 boxes and they're empty; one next to the road, other next to the small house and the third inside the small house
- dynamite placed on the road will go under the viewcones of the allied soldiers
- enemy tank isn't animated at all, kills authenticy even if it's a very small detail

NIGHT OF THE WOLVES

- still some punctuation and spelling errors in the English text, such as "Nazi communication" where it should be "Nazi communications" as per the HQ voice you hear.
- soldiers are often find stuck in beds, this ruins a lot of opportunities
- throwing a grenade inside a building will send the enemies bodies in the walls from the blast, like they were put between the concrete - NOTE: this is a common bug even existing in the original game, could have been fixed for immersion purposes

25 January 2020 - Part 2
v1.01

General

- the bonus screen doesn't really scale well to everything else, has empty space on both top and bottom sides
- upon selecting an objective in the objective book to preview the details, once you close it, the game stays zoomed way further in, so you have to zoom out back to normal using numpad keys
- when taking a piece of the bonus book, you can place it in the inventory but it wont count towards the collected bonuses until you click twice on it or you try to move it in a different cell/box
- when pressing F11 to outline the enemies nearby, some of them have parts not outlined at all, be it side of the boots, hand or something.

Localization

- minor typo in the mission results screen; "ELAPSED TIME" is spelled "ELASPSED TIME".

Missing features

- map navigation is missing
[MINOR] - alarm icon on screen when alarm is triggered is missing

Minor ideas

- add separate audio and text language options, for those who prefer different combinations
- add an option to turn on/off Virtual Synchronization, also known as V-Sync - NOTE: this will improve the framerate for select group of people
- add advanced graphic options, such as Shadow Quality, that is often considered framerate killer in games
- make the timer on top of the screen optional in game settings - REASON: if you're in a hot situation and you misclick it, it'll save the game and screw you up.

Missions

NIGHT OF THE WOLVES

- boat's engine sound sometimes can't be heard - NOTE: this seems random
- minor typo in the first cutscene with the resistance soldier; he says you have to deactivate the fence located in "the nearby room", whereas the switch is in the nearby building.
[ISSUE MENTIONED BEFORE] - when inside the building with the fence electricity switch, one half of the mouse cursor sinks underneath the floor, the circle in particular
- when picking the meat from the box near the soldier reading the newspaper next to the cylinder, the help screen doesnt appear to tell the player what for the meat can be used
- minor typo in the English trext in the second cutscene meeting Natasha; the Thief says "It's good to see you to", whereas it should be "It's good to see you too".
- when attempting to use the second control panel for opening the base entrance doors, if the door is opened it won't trigger properly - NOTE: I can't remember if this pertains for the original version, there is no solution I can think of except programmers doing some variable trick.
- garage building to the left of the one where the resistance soldier is; when you jump out of the window facing the 2 workers talking outside, they won't see you even if you're in their noses literally, like you arent there
- sometimes going in and out of buildings makes so the spotlighted areas around the map are blacked out - NOTE: this happens randomly, reloading a save doesnt help nor restarting the game
- the red signal on the poles arund the base, indicating when alarm is on, doesnt flash like in the original game, looks like static texture
- in one case when the alarm triggered, thief was killed and natasha was outside, however the little camera view to the left came up showing some soldiers in a nuilding; this event had nothing to do with Natasha, as she wasn't in a building - NOTE: there are no prisoners in the main part of the base, I have no idea why this triggered
- once used, Natasha's lipstick is gone - NOTE: lipstick in original game had infinite use
- building where the Thief spawns in the next mission, one with the 3 bed rooms, doesn't have any guards inside - NOTE: there should be at least 3 guards positioned like this, if you entered from the south side near the wall; one standing next to the door you came in, one in the middle bed room, and another one patroling the top entrance
WARNING: this occured only once, fixed itself after quickload. Very weird. Might be one of those rare bugs.
- sometimes you can place an item on top of already occupied box, such as pills on top of Natasha's uniform.
- when in the General's office, you notice he is alone - NOTE: in the original, there were 2 enemies inside, one being the General, and one other. Now this might be part of the plot, as the General's assistant is drinking with the others. I can't remember what the 2nd enemy looked like but sure as hell it never was his assistant. He is always drinking during the mission.
- at some point further in the game, where I had to radio the HQ, Natasha suddenly has the Lipstick back; what I did is I was coming back from Generals office going towards the radio building, I opened the locked door and I saw the Lipstick icon again.
- the level generally seems much more darker than unusual - NOTE: I might be too old already.
- in the third cutscene when the Thief is hidden under the bed, cutscene video doesnt scale well to the other parts of the interface, there are empty spaces in both top and bottom

BONUS MISSION 1-9

DAS BOOT, SILENT KILLERS

-- Almost identical issues as listed in NIGHT OF THE WOLVES.

General

- sometimes you can see Whisky casting a shadow on the Thief's animated icon when trading items between the two
- when you hide the interfaceby pressing tilde (`) and you attempt to use any action using hotkeys, in this case, examine body, you cant do it - NOTE: this seems intentional
- sometimes the game freezes after it's been left in the background, in my case, i left the game minimized and went away for lunch, i came back, opened the game again, tried to load my save as i was killed, and the game froze - NOTE: this might be caused by performance issues
- sometimes when managing items in your inventory and you have only few boxes left, moving a weapon that takes usually 5 boxes, like the rifle, makes so the rifle is returned to the enemy body, in my case i had Tiny inventory almost full with 3 boxes left, i moved the submachine gun over the uniform and the rifle returned back to the enemy's body - NOTE: this thing happened twice when i was still in the building with the 3 bed rooms
- when picking up the poison gas grenade for the first time ever, the help window doesnt open to tell you about it and how you can use it
- when expanding the item menu of a character via the interface (grey arrow), you can see a value next the submachine icon that represents the ammo available and it sometimes is vertical instead of horizontal, which goes out of the icon
- sometimes when you use the Diver and throw a knife at an enemy, you do throw the knife but dont kill im and then you cant even collect it back, it's just gone

Animations

- when climbing up or down a ladder, no animation is visible on the character portrait - NOTE: in the original version, climbing and carrying objects had own animation

Suggestions

- add ability to rotate the camera view indoors with ALT+MOUSE SCROLL instead of only being able to use ALT+ARROW KEYS
- add console vor entering cheats if cheat codes are ever introduced

Missions

DAS BOOT, SILENT KILLERS

- horrible performance stuttering noticeable through the whole level
- when you dive underwater, it's impossible to differentiate where the underwater mines are, as everything is black - NOTE: in the original version, the underwater environment was quite detailed and you could see everything
- when you throw a tied up body next to a door, you can't examine it, f.e. i dumped the body of the gate patroling soldier behind the door next to the radio room (the one pointing out towards the kubelwagen
- thief's portrait icon wont show to the left corner on the screen where other commandos icons are
- if you use the Kubelwagen and hit the driveable truck found at the northern gate, one where the worker is doing something at the front,the driveable truck will bounce back as it was hit with 100 km/h
- in the radio room located at the base gates, inside you can notice a slightly transparent white line going across the room, as if it comes like light reflection out of the window however there are no windows in the room
- once you open the gates with the gate switch in the radio room, on the little screen to the left (camera view) you can see a very bright flash on the ground, as if a light pole had its light reflected on the ground, however the mission is set during daytime and no lightpoles are working - NOTE: this isnt else visible

- base entrance gates; once you spawn Tiny at the corner of the map, there is no reflection of the parachute seen on the ground
- when throwing cigarette packs, you can actually throw them on the other side of a building, which in fact means the cigarette packs are thrown through walls
- the AT wheels arent spinning, lack animation perhaps
- when you throw a grenade over the wall where the exercising soldiers are, go inside a building and leave, the bodies arent at the same place the blast moved them but differently
- when you throw a grenade over the wall where the exercising soldiers are and alarm is triggered, it won't stop even if every enemy is back on its position, i observed that for like 3 minutes
- in the building with the electric fence switch, in the lieutenant cabinet where Natasha was once held hostage, you can notice a window reflection even though there is no window visible
- big building where the electric fence switch is located: on the roof, the ladder where the sniper is positioned, has incorrect outline
- when you are peeking through the door on A-1, the door texture on the small window to the left (the examine camera) has very blurry texture to the point it doesnt look like anything

- in one case as i was on the hangar building's roof with the Spy, i had quicksaved and upon loading the save suddenly my disguise was broken and that resulted in the Spy getting killed - NOTE: this seems rare
- inside the hangar building, the entrance with the sliding gate switch; when you attempt to loot the box, the game breaks by the way the interface disappear and you can't cancel the looting`- NOTE: this can be resolved if you manually activate the interface by pressing tilde (`) and close the box inventory window using he onscreen icon
- in one case when i entered the door next to the officer standing near the railing with Fins and killed the two workers with throwable knife, i couldn't retrieve it back, e.g. it sinked into the ground for unknown reasons - NOTE: I had my inventory almost full, this might help in figuring out the bug

General

- door that aren't really seen by the player, depending on which camera angle he uses, shouldn't have their overlays displayed by pressing F10; enemy overlays should be though
- when switching between two or more commandoes and one of them is inside a building, there's a black screen delay between switching indoor and outdoor scenes
- most objects tend to have blurry look whereas updated objects look too crispy, f.e. the gate near the train stop on Das Boot Silent Killers
- activated viewcone hides upon examining a body
- sometimes when looting enemy bodies, when your cursor points at their bodies just when you open their window, the cursor tip says "Machine Gun" but you aren't actually pointing at the weapon itself
- sometimes when workers punch you, you can't hear the action sound
- flamethrower has ammo value at the middle right of the icon, should be moved to the bottom to make it more readable
- when you knock out an enemy and another one sees him lying down, he will trigger the "cautious" viewcone once and will return back to his position - NOTE: in the original game, if an enemy sees another one lying down, he will go check what happened.
- big doors, like garage doors, can often clip into the building's walls when opened and closed
- sometimes you can't examine enemies killed by explosives such as grenades
- sometimes you can't pick up bodies of enemies killed by explosives such as grenades
- sometimes pressing C to bring the medkit, you're insta-healed - NOTE: this behavior is strange, you usually need to click to the character you want to heal to heal him
- sometimes when you try to poison a bottle, you can actually add a bottle to the narcotics and to return it back, you have to use another bottle on the narcotics
- when Whiskey is walking staircases, his back legs are floating in the air

General Gamebreaking

- throwable knives used by the Diver often can disappear when used to kill someone, that can ruin a mission

Animations

- when switching between Tiny and the Diver, you can notice some visual glitches on the animated character portrait - NOTE: this is best to be observed


Localization

- Das Boot, Silent Killers - when speaking with the captain, he says "I hope nazis dismantled my submarine" but in his voice you actually hear "I hope nazis didn't dismantle my submarine"

Suggestions

- add so you can close the inventory window by Mouse Right Click anywhere on the screen as well - NOTE: this is way more conventional in some cases

Missions

DAS BOOT, SILENT KILLERS

- when you open the "Rescue all the prisoners" objective in the objective book, the game freezes completely and you have to restart it
- when dogs are asleep, if you run near them and make any noise, they wake up for a second, start barking and go back to sleep - barking sound plays bugged, the bugged sound sounds like infinite "bwabwabwabwabwabwabwbawabwabwab"
- one of the dogs that is awake has animation broken; sits down and goes up infinitely
- when you enter the tower behind the 5 water tanks and you climb up to the roof, you can't then climb down back, f.e. no mouse cursor icon is shown with pressing the SHIFT key (only way to climb down is if you use the grappling hook); NOTE - this seems like the ladder overlay issue to me
- when attempting to run over a guard near the wall outside the base with the truck, you can't kill him as you literally fly through his body doing no harm
- when the AT (Armored Truck) is destroyed, its part remain in the air, f.e. the wheels float in thin air
- when driving the truck, you can go over the trees, check screenshot for reference:

- when attempting to run over a soldier with the truck, you can kill them only if they are in front of the truck but if you do a manuever to quickly turn, the truck will just push the soldiers away - NOTE: this i think is also present in the original version
[MAJOR] - around the map you can get a lot of dynamite and bombs to blow the Flak guns, however you don't have such an objective - NOTE: this objective was present in the original game
- when you drive the truck and if you happen to get killed, the spy can be seen standing stuck outside near the driver's door, check screenshot for reference:

- you can throw a grenade on the hangar roof from lower ground and kill an enemy - NOTE: this isn't possible in the original version, as you have a limited grenade throwing range
- when you talk with the sailors and they ask you to destroy the torpedo in the building with the electric fence switch, no additional objective is added to the objective book
- when you open the rightmost hangar door and if the enemy outside is alarmed seeing someone else's corpse he can't reach, you can notice the yellow cautious line showing on the hangar opening camera window to the left also showing on your main screen, check the screenshot for reference:

- when you have already rescued the sailors and left the room they are held, you can't enter the door again holding SHIFT, f.e. the cursor says the door is inaccessible, however if you peek through the peehole and LEFT-CLICK, you will enter
- when you destroy the torpedo and the building, the camera pans out quite far and stays like this, until you move around and it goes back to zoomed in
- when you try to clim down from the front hatch on the sub, sometimes the commando will prepare to climb down, enters the sub but wont reach the far end on the ladder to land on the floor
- when the final cutscene triggers, the camera zooms in and the game freezes, you have to RIGHT CLICK to continue
- when the final cutscene triggers, the camera zooms in and the game freezes, you have to RIGHT CLICK to continue; the Missions Result then has the "ESC to Skip" label underneath the Continue button

BONUS MISSION 2

General

- sometimes when you have killed enemy in front of a door, if you go back the same door and peek through it, you can see the enemy is still alive on the little camera view, however he isnt
- sometimes when you knock out an enemy indoors and he was standing near a wall, you can't actually kill him or tie him up; the game doesnt do anything even if you give the commandos given action like stabbing or tying, f.e. on White Death, the room where Green Beret is held hostage, when the soldier is sitting and knock him out, you cant do anything and he will wake up...
- when you poison a bottle, sometimes it doesnt show as poisoned but normal one, however if you pick it up with the mouse cursor, its green - once you leave it, it's back normal

General Minor

- when thrown, the bottle of wine doesnt cast shadow

Mechanics

- the Exchange mechanic doesn't seem to work and has no help page in the Help Book to describe to the player how its used

Localization

- first cutscene on White Death with the Sapper; when the sapper mentions about deciphering the german communications, his actual line is "communication" rathr than "communications".
- second cutscene on White Death with the Green Beret; "interrigating the submarine" or something, i dunno what ever this means? interrogating the submarine? um?
- third cutscene on White Death with the Captain; he says "Thanks you" instead of "Thank you"

Suggestions

- make viewcones dynamic to the surface, so they can follow different relief on the map, such as the snow rock formations on White Death
- make it so the last of the sleeping pills can be used as well

Missions

WHITE DEATH

- when a walrus is swimming in the water, you can notice some visual glitches in one certain spot, check the screenshots for reference:

- when attempting to climb the ladder to the 2nd level of the submarine, the outline shows incorrectly to the model itself, check the screenshot for reference:

- when you are in the sub, and you order another commandos on the outside to come in the sub itself, just when you switch to the one already in the sub, you can hear the "sound level" thing when running on your screen - even though the other commandos is running outside
- when you are in the sub, and you order another commandos on the outside to come in the sub itself, once he is climbing down the ladder, you can hear the respective sound - even though you have different commandos selected, you can still hear that
- when you order a commandos to get down in the sub, once he is already out, he would then attempt to climb down but refuse to do it - NOTE: this issue happens only on one of the sub ladders, the one at the back of the sub:

- when entering the room of the first ship gun and you leave out, an officer and a soldier pop out of nowhere; NOTE - this is rare and I dunno how to reproduce

- ladder animations when climbing down in the sub can be often from the wrong side, f.e. if you climb down a ladder the character wont climb from the right side of it but the opposite
- when loading a save, doors looking normal have this blue-ish look on their textures - NOTE; this happens randomly
- when in the room at the back of the ship that is between the 2 guns, peeking through the ladder hole makes so the commandos sinks into the floor and can see the room underneath him full of enemies, as you can see on the little window to the left, check screenshot for reference:

i would like to refund, but how can i know if there will be improvements if i can't try for myself? we have to wait for other people to say "Now you can play it"? and what if people just stops talking about the game and there will be no news about a general improvement of the game?

Guys, if you have encountered something weird you think needs to be brought forward, post it here. If you don't, use the other topics to discuss your concerns.

I'm not happy with this either. Then we still have the original version in our possession - as long as the legacy isn't ruined by being pulled off all stores, I'm okay - not that my opinion makes a difference in the end.

Again, I'm doing my own experiment here trying to see what would be patched and what wouldn't be after few months.

yeah, sure. I was already happy with the original one, i'm not actually complaining with this remaster. i'm just sad because it could have been a good chance to revive the brand. Not only for us but for new players as well.
Anyway i hope that the situation will change in the future.

From what i've seen, this game came at least half a year too early. I doubt, that they will spend this much time fixing the game...

Here are some more bugs:
- In the second training mission: One of the enemies is aiming out of the window, but from the outside no rifle is visible (not sure if you could see this in the original, but you should be able to see it)
- The gates in the first and second mission are 3D objects with a fence texture on it. Unfortunately the alpha channel of the fence texture is not working.
- The light tank in the second mission lacks animation (the wheels are neither spinning nor moving when steering). It looks like being made of cardboard.
- The commandos in a boat are permanently wiggling around a bit (as if their position is permanently recalculated)
I've noticed a bug. The historical footage isn't playing, and for some reason the swastikas are failing to render.

Yep you could see him in the original, it's extra good because there are late levels with enemy snipers who are also invisible due to this bug.

I've added ton more to the OP. Devs have way more to work through. Much more coming for the next missions, especially White Death and Colditz.

At this point I think even a single guy could do QA testing himself - stuff I've noticed could've been fixed during the Beta period easily.

I am totally without any sound (voices, music, effects, nothing) in Das Boot scenario. I think it was because the several loads when I fail in something. Progressively it was lost sounds and right now I have not any sound on the scenario, and the savegame records this because I restarted PC and game and it was not the solution. Wish when I finish Das Boot the sound comes again.
