Commandos 2 was never online. To do that, the studio would have to spend money on keeping a server up, given the age of this game and there probably isnt that big of a following, you can expect this never to happen.

It was possible to play the original Commandos 2 as multiplayer with friends. ;-)

One possible option would be to host your own server, if the game provides such an option.

It was possible to play on LAN server with friends. Please don't write if you don't know ;)
