Report a translation problem
Could you let us know what platform you are on?
We've had some other reports of this happening on mac. A restart and starting a new game seemed to fix the problem for now, but we will be looking in to a long term fix.
As for 16:9, the game should support everything up to super wide monitors. The game will start up at your native desktop resolution. We'll look in to it if that is not the case.

I'm on PC Win 10 1909, Ryzen 3700X, GTX 1070Ti, resolution 2560x1440@165Hz with all the latest drivers and updates.
Just tried the demo again today and lowered the desktop resolution to 1080p and I'm still having similar problems. This time when I pressed the Continue the character was off-screen and suddenly appeared on a black background, like she is not properly aligned with the level.

If you could start a new game and see if the problem is fixed, that would be great. If it's not fixed I would really appreciate if you could send me the log file to I can investigate the issue further. It will be located in:
Windows: /Users/USERNAME/Library/Logs/SoRomantic/Jack\ Move/Player.log
If you could email that to support@soromantic.co.uk, that would be amazing.

Hi Empika,
Starting a new game doesn't fix the issue.
I couldn't find the log file in the path you've specified, I think the one you gave was for MacOS not Windows machine.
