Unplayable after adding blood DLC

I knew I shouldnt have done it....

The game was running fine, 60 turns in, many battles, no crashes. I was enjoying it so I thought "4 bucks for blood effects is a bit greedy, but ♥♥♥♥ it, its only 4 bucks"

That was last night just before I went to bed.

I came back today to conitue and I cant fight battles anymore.

I paid 4 bucks to trash my game.

anyone else had this issue with the blood dlc.

Nope, with blood effects off... I crash about 10-30 secs after going onto the battle map.

You might have already done it but have you tried to verify games files?
The crash sounds strange because usually all the DLCs are already installed even if you don't have activate them.

It's not a problem with the DLC. If it was, more people would have this problem.

your game became corrupted which shouldn't have happened, and you need to verify the game files. Or its a mod, but i cant see any of them conflicting with it.

blood effect has been traditional CA way to sell game for expansiver price.

There is a slider in the options after you install the DLC, trying moving it around.

Of all the BS dlc...i just can't understand people who buy this.

It's such a disrespectful business practice. It's like, you buying a burger and then the guy selling it tells you : "wanna some ketchup? well, it sure is tasty but it's sold separately..."
