Crossplay with Epic

Hello. I don't know if this has been answered before, but if I get this game on Steam, will I be able to play with my friends that have it on Epic?

Multiplayer is kind of a selling point for me.

When did you play last time? Because if I'm not wrong crossplay is On since the first day they released the game on steam, so...

Well, I can say the 5th was already working because I tested with a friend, but crossplay was already confirmed at release date. Also I found a message at the troy discord of one of the most veteran players:

Except that the person who pointed the mistake was the same person who, according to your criteria, was rude (asking why you answer if you dont know it iks rude? dude, what a sensitive skin. You apologized with the guy you answer, and insult the one who pointed your mistake.
