or at least give a film grain slider like in l4d2 to reduce the grain.
i seriously do hope this gets options to turn off or adjust with slider as mentioned, as some other games provide that option.
i feel extremely turned off by this effects and actually makes me sad, i added this game on wishlist back in 2017... the mood/ambient creepy feeling for co op horror shooter seems spot on, but then.. what the heck is going on with this seizure inducing filter fest ?!?! ......gosh...
Sounds weird complaining like this when maybe core concept/game play is what should matter.. but i cant help but feel this effects are so bad it actually overcomes the rest... not that anyone will care with my opinion but i had to trow this out for the few mins i could endure trying it...
The film grain is rather strong. You can see here in the screenshot the bullet casing is covered in visual noise. That's the grain.
EDIT: I’m a knucklehead. I was remoted into my home PC when I looked at your screenshot and am using 8-bit color for speed considerations in the remote software so it was looking way more grainy than your actual screenshot is. ;-)
