Sierra-style adventure games without many death scenes are soulless.
It was more annoying and never needed in those games, you even had complete dead ends too (like having missed picking up an object).
But that new death would impact an achievement which some guides might not have picked up on? And i don't know about that mysterious/weird thing that is spoken of since i am only halfway in the game.
