I am beyond excited for TDC: AoR and Now this!

I had no idea The Dark Crystal would get a game adaptation, let alone a Tactics game.

I admittedly am I bit worried, but more excited to see how it turns out.

Definitely on my wishlist and day-one purchase even just to support this game, its creators, and to hopefully show that we want more Dark Crystal content!

I look forward to more news on this game and maybe some in-depth looks into how it plays out.

Is there a current or older tactics game this could be likened to?

If you mean a Dark Crystal game, I don't know.

Final Fantasy Tactics and related games in the franchise were made by a group at Square called The Ivallace Alliance. These games take place in the world of FFVII, The Realm of Ivallace. There are three games total. Tactics, Tactics A2: Grimoire of the Rift which were for game Boy Advance and Nintendo DS respectively, and then lastly, War of the Lions for PSP and now for mobile. The last is probably one of the hardest tactics games I've played to date. These all contain in depth weapon and job skills and specialties. The first two also contain lots of races to choose from, all with their own special attributes.

Fire Emblem another that is quite wonderful. Since playing through these, my need to continually bug Square to create more Tactics games has subsided. All of them are wonderful. I have played a few more tactics games and know there are many more out there I've most likely never heard of however, these two franchises continue to sit at the top of their class in the few that I have.

Ar7ax, I recently started War of the Lions with the frame-rate fix on my VITA. I played the original when it first came out (I'm 33 y.o. lol) and I loved it, but never beat it as I was borrowing it from a friend. Cant wait to finally play it all the way through.

My hopes for THIS game, Dark Crystal Tactics, is that it is similar to these great games we grew up loving.

Maybe the Devs can answer if there are any out there that this can be compared to?
