[SOLUTION] R18 Patch and other DLC not working.

Steam DLC come bundled with files for both the SFW and NSFW versions of the game including version update files for both this causes conflicts and broken files as they repeatedly overwrite each other. I was able to get things working using the method bellow, however I can not confirm that this will fix every single issue with the steam version and its dlc's as there is far too much content for me to fully test all locations/events/text/animations ect.

NOTE: I do not own all of the DLC available on steam and so have not tested with the following:

Overbearing and Preppy Personality
Soft Cuddly Personality
Black Friday Pack
Holiday Pack

Inspect what steam is putting inside your DLC folder if you are going to use them, and delete the unessecery files. specifically delete update_1.16.0 files from the enadult folder and update_1.11.0, inm_update, and adult_update_dlc from the enpublic folder

Condensed version:

1. Uninstall and delete contents of the original install folder.
2. Reinstall with only the R18 DLC selected in steams DLC management.
3. Run the launcher and confirm R18 DLC was applyed by starting a new game.

Optionaly download GP-01 now if you have it and repeat step 3

4. Download and install offical version update from https://com3d2.world/r18/update/
5. Download all other steam DLC **DO NOT START GAME LAUNCHER AFTER DOWNLOAD**
6. Go to install folder
7. Go to "..//com3d2inm/dlc/"
8. Delete "enpublic"
9. Go to "..//com3d2inm/dlc/enadult/"
10. Delete "update_1.16.0" and "update_1.16.0.dlc"
11. Start the Launcher to apply the dlcs.

Optional:
if you have GP-01 and want the adult content for it get the patch from

Safety version for smaller re-downloads if it breaks again or if condensed version fails.

1.	Uninstall Custom Order Maid 3D2 from steam.
2.	Delete all files in the old install directory.
3.	Preform a fresh install with **ALL** of your steam dlc selected.
4.	***DO NOT ATTEMPT TO RUN THE GAME LAUNCHER YET***
5.	Create a new folder to backup files somewhere else on your system.
6.	Navigate to the games install directory and go to "..//com3d2inm/dlc"
7.	go into the "enpublic" folder and copy the the following to your backup folder

	-"adult_update_dlc"
	-"adult_update_dlc.dlc"
	-"com3d2enginmplg_gp001"
	-"dlc_com3d2enginmplg_gp001.dlc"

8.	Return to the "..//com3d2inm/dlc" folder and delete the entire "enpublic" folder
9.	Go into the "enadult" folder and delete the "update_1.16.0" folder and "update_1.16.0.dlc" file.
10.	Copy the "enadult" folder to your backup folder.
11.	With all the important files now backed up elsewhere delete the original contents of "..//com3d2inm/dlc"
12.	place "com3d2enginmplg_gp001" and "dlc_com3d2enginmplg_gp001.dlc" into "..//com3d2inm/dlc"
13.	Start the games launcher, enable internet connection. exit the launcher without playing after it finishes updating dlc
14.	Repeat for "adult_update_dlc" and "adult_update_dlc.dlc" but start the game after the dlc update
15.	Start a new save file, if you get the NTR Block message the install has gone correctly and your game is now 18+ Patched.
16.	Download and install the latest 18+ Patch update from https://com3d2.world/r18/update/
17.	Download and install the GP-01 18+ Supplement from S-Court.
17.(a)	Start the game a verify that you still receive the NTR Block prompt when starting a new game.
18.	Copy the contents of the "adult" folder in your backup to "..//com3d2inm/dlc" and run the launcher.
19.	If "..//com3d2inm/dlc" is empty after running the launcher your dlc's were installed and you can go enjoy them.
20.	If you purchase and download additional dlc from steam you must go into the "..//com3d2inm/dlc" folder and delete "enpublic" and any other uneeded files inside "enadult" before running the launcher.

Update:

Steams R18 Patch DLC is non functional as of 12/25/2022 but you can still patch a steam install to the adult version by purchasing and downloading it from https://dl-en.s-court.me/

This update also bricked installing one or more dlc via steam post R18 conversion as downloading all dlc after conversion reverted the launcher and game exe to 1.00 INM version

You can still do it by enabling all dlc on a fresh install and backing up the "enadult" folder before preforming the R18 conversion and official update but man what a pain that would be to do each time you buy a new dlc on steam

After slowly going through the steam dlc i own I found this one to be the one that was overwriting games files back to ver 1.00.0 INM on download(before even running the launcher)
I dont know if thats specific to me or if it does that for everyone tho.

I remember months ago some trouble with that pack exactly because it was "glitching" between sfw and nsfw version, but it never got this big of a problem. Maybe it influenced the whole game since it loads stuff into the yotogi list.

Three questions
1) the new patches of 29/12 fixed the other stuff and/or this?
2) what problems are now present for someone with a 18+ patch from dev site and steam dlcs from here?
3) If I understand correctly, if I buy the dlcs and open the folders, before launching the game, cut some files, I can still salvage my game?
I will probably keep my shopping on less recent dlc anyway...but that secretary maid just released is tempting

1) Latest updates restored the steam R18 patch which was broken and not downloading, and updated the game launcher to be compatible with the COM3D2 2.5 addon and store pages. (ive not yet looked into the 2.5 stuff)

2) needing to apply the R18 conversion and then the update before adding additional dlc is always going to be a thing. the problem with steam dlc is that if you download any after doing the r18 conversion and update theres a good chance your game gets reverted to the SFW version. This reversion to the SFW version can also happen anytime the game is updated on steam.

3) Essentialy you can do a fresh install from steam with all dlc and backup the dlc related files then add them back after doing the r18 patch and update. if you have ever played any of bethesdas older titles where you needed to install certain mods before others. it's like that. steam tries to do everything at once, but by managing it yourself you can ensure that a) your installing the R18 conversion and update first, and b)your not installing any SFW version files afterward.


Just a final thought. I don't think there is a whole lot the developers can do about the way steam reverts installs to sfw version on updates issue due to how the game was released on steam.
