What's the difference between CM3D2 and COM3D2?

Is COM3D2 a sequel to CM3D2 or is it just the English version? I'm asking cause I remember hearing you could transfer maids and the Protagonist from CM3D2 to COM3D2. But I've noticed some mods don't look as good in COM3D2 as they do in CM3D2(granted this could be because I got a new AIO and deleted the old one) so I'm just curious.

Basically, COM3D2 is the successor to CM3D2. The international version isn't compatible with the transfer function (though some folks have found creative ways of moving content from CM3D2 across)
COM3D2 has some great overarching stories compared to CM3D2 with a full idol route story etc.

Ah ok thanks. I guess now my only remaining question is why certain mods don't look as good, like for instance I have Hikage mod that has a pretty muddy looking hair textures, however if you look at the sample photo the hair textures look identical to how they looks in the Senran Kagura games. So I'm curious, does CM3D2 have a similar looking but slightly different graphics engine or did I mess something up when switching the AIO's?

Probably missed something, it's essentially just the same game engine but with a lot of improvements, could be to do with lighting as well maybe? Someone more into dabbling with mods may have a greater insight though.
