Getting VR to work in com3d2
goto the main game folder and look for a folder called 32bit. copy the com3d2.exe inside that folder and paste it into the main game folder. launch it and a launcher screen will appear. tick the VR to on then launch the game.

you should have it come up on your VR head set. works with rift

Believe that issue is only if you are not using Steam version since we dont have a 32bit folder and it launches the Launcher by default.

This is right, for some reason nutaku version hides the launcher in its own folder....

Another trick: Check out what happens when you create a link on your desktop to COM3D2x64.exe then open the link's properties and append /VR to the target path. So maybe it looks like

"D:\COM3D2\COM3D2x64.exe /VR"

Then first start your VR device (in my case SteamVR), when ready double click that newly created link.

Theres also the possibility to add such a link directly into your Steam VR library and start it directly from the dashboard...

Tried both ways.. first one : could not locate the 32 folder at all. Second method: Error message stated: pathway not valid . Right clicked on the .exe and sent shortcut to desktop. Tried adding /VR to target...still error message.

Got it working...thnxs. Found a work around. Took the vr files from com3d and just copied them to com3d2. Works...controls are a bit wonky, but its in vr.

I've been trying to get the VR version to work and have had no luck. Until now. Laiden is right to a point but the /VR is to be on the right side of the quotation marks. So it should look more like.

"D:\COM3D2\COM3D2x64.exe" /VR

If you put the /VR inside the quotation marks you will get an error message every time.

I just wanted to put this out there to help anyone else that may run into this issue in the future.
