Good S characters?

What are good S characters ?

And is crimson sycthe a trap ? i keep getting millions of her and seems useless ?

Basically, choose ur waifus..and thats it...if u really do wamma min/max, then focus on characters that have the most special gears..vina is the easiest to built imo, cuz her gear is easily accessible

There's a lot of hate for Scythe, but I ran her all the way from 0 to 400 and I never felt let down. Plus she's got some real nice gear in the event shop that will roll over to Academy.

She's "low tier" because she lacks AoE and is fairly fragile - dying quickly to focused fire. This is solved by speccing into dodge and burst gear - equipment that increases chance to ignore damage and gives large AoE damage on low-health or dead status.

In short, know your crew's strengths and weaknesses, build around them, and you'll be fine.

As far as good S-class goes, people probably won't mock you for running the following

Vina (Striker)
Dioctlan (Guardian)
Myoni (Hunter)
Alannah (Healer)
Vicki (Mage)
Princess Flo (Mage)
Fitch (Assassin)

Pick any 4 and you get a solid mix of Aoe, single target burst, durability, crowd control/stun and bust size.

is it worth trying to power up SS since they are harder to get? i bought 2 the SS healer from black market trying to farm her but i'll need to wait 6 days until i get to buy her again is she good ?

SS healer is pretty top tier. She gives team invincibility at higher ranks, and most people have sworn she's MVP dps in certain cases as well.

SS levels a lot slower than S because their awakenings are more expensive - costing an entire extra fodder piece in Cathedral, although specific rank of the fodder may change.

In general, I think best agreed practice is to skip levelling SS directly until your tree reaches 400. You can still use them in squad by placing them in tree, just don't use as one of your Big 4.

After 400 awakenings matter a lot less but are still important. You'll get crushed in PvP if you throw purple SS at a field of Mythic/Eternal S, but at that height PvE is basically steamrollable.

Level 4 S-class chicks heros to level 400 and put your SS-class heros in Yggdrasil. This way you can play with different heros than those you are actually leveling. Bringing a SS-class to 400 would take way too long. And from then on you will level Yggdrasil directly anyway.

Currently I have 16 heros on level 450 including four SS-classes, all thanks to Yggdrasil. I just don't have enough skill certificates for them. XD

I used all my soul crystals on the main guy :( just before i could notice i could use them on my other heroes it was a huge amount i thought it was only resources used for main guy did i brick?

No, it shouldn't take long to get more soul crystals. At the dock you can recycle retire B-class heros for soul crystals and you get them as reward for summoning.
