Exactly.
However, this is exactly where my problem is, because there is supposedly no such thing as a "true ending".
I'm absolutely with you here, and there's nothing wrong with an experience instead of a classic game.
BUT... Oh, no!
Even a walking simulator has an end.
If I believe the computer game jounalists, there is no end screen in this game, no "you won", no credits. What irritates me, should this be true, is the "Break The Loop" game mechanic. I don't understand what it's for, so I can't decide if the game is interesting for me or not.
For me, breaking the loop is an ending that somehow doesn't seem to exist. All the ideas I have about how to continue after breaking the loop don't make sense to me in terms of game design.
I hope the dev responds to this thread and clarifies this for me, because as much as I am intrigued by the game and the general concept of it, without knowing what the endgame or NOT endgame looks like, I am hesitant to buy the game.
Perhaps the explanation is quite simple and/or my sources of information were poor.
Thank you for your answer.
