i guess maaany people will abandon this game because of this challenge. its just awful. and you need 1000 out of 1000 points. its literally harder than before and before it was annoying already.
I managed to get all 1000 after an afternoon of torture. also for the people who are saying git gud or whatever its just a childish response. if you are persistent a round will eventually be in your favor. I also agree tho, why would epic make a really difficult challenge series right when thousands of new players are joining...
I totally agree, I played last night at dawn thinking that there were fewer people and it would be a little easier, none of that happened, I came back this morning and ended up frustrated, I just needed to win the solitaire and finish the event but I think I won't be able to, It will be the first fall guys event that I won't be able to finish because of the ridiculous difficulty it has, I got tired and uninstalled the game
I've won multiple times, in all game modes, and it's satisfying when it happens, but I'll never try to win in a certain amount of time, imo it just totally ruins the fun and makes things frustrating.
So I won't do these events when wins are required. I don't love the game enough to spend an entire afternoon trying.
The skin isn't great anyway, I would have used it 2 or 3 times and never touched it again, so I don't really care. I just got the lower part but won't use it ^^
Like literally, fall once don't qualify. It's absolutely un-enjoyable. It was fun before this patch, was getting fun matches, 60/60 players so I don't know if my match making went up or something changed but this is dumpsters tier.
Plus, now I have like 78,000 Kudos and nothing good to use them on. Never thought a game would become far less enjoyable with 5x the maps it had... slightly amazed they managed to do it.
SBMM was introduced to make it more fun and accessible. If you find it too sweaty you probably need to lose a bunch of matches and stop tryharding.
Kinda sick of getting shafted in squads and duos. Not even due to bad teammates but just spawning down a teammate which is essentially a death sentence no matter how good you are, unless you've got the luck of the gods.
That's to say nothing of the large team games present where it's just a flip of a coin that you get the god squad or the goofy goobers. And THAT is to say nothing where the game just likes to screw people for no reason. Every time I get fallball its 3 squads versus 4. And the 4 always wins. Or a three way team game with 7 squad split giving a massive advantage for no logical reason. Absolute aids.
This one was so easy to get comparatively, and those other ones weren't even that hard, just tedious.
They should have made this event harder since the more people who get the costume the less cool the costume becomes because it loses exclusivity.
So this was the way (thanks for suggestion). To share some science around the matchmaking -
I was in super sweat elo (so people saying 'get gud' - you probably aren't on the level - which is indicative by 8 hours player). It was horrible.
Games would only ever find 40 players which screwed up the sequencing (you'd be playing hoopsie to remove 4 players, no one dies on any of the weaker games - it was SO GRINDY).
It sucked. Like if you fell once on any races you weren't qualifying. I was still making the finals about 25-33% of the time but it was absolute suffering and pain at how good people are at the final games. I'd get dizzy from how long roll-outs would last.
I started playing this game after a 2 year break about 4 days ago......... so that doesn't seem right, I was wondering how I was so high so fast.
I decided to tank games, after about 7 I started to get matched with 60 people again and it was back to sort of a normal pace. I tanked for about 10 more and it started putting bots into the lobby. Tanked 3 more just to see and it kept the bots there with about 20%-30% of the lobby.
Conclusion: It is just as easy to drop elo as it is to raise it, crown level doesn't matter. It's based on past performance.
Suggestion: have just a "normal" mode and a "ranked" for people who take it seriously. I don't want to take it seriously, but I want that costume I love gladiator crap.
I absolutely agree, also at the time of making this discussion i was only getting 40 player games which is HORRIBLE. It would give us super easy games and draw games out way longer with weird elimination amounts per game.
