The "win a solo game" challenge makes the game less fun imo

I am probably just bad but I have been playing for the past week or two with my friends and since they added these new limited challenges to win games its gotten near impossible to enjoy solos with everyone sweating. Its not even enjoyable when elimination rounds go on for 5+ minutes because you got put with crazy people. Squads and duos also sucks just as much with the team games making it down to luck if you are going to win for those challenges. idk if it is just me but I enjoy the game more for it being funny and semi relaxed with the boys. now it just feels like everyone is grinding for those wins...

My small brother feels the same way, he no longer wants to play because he's become frustrated over the game because of win a solo match :( he hasn't wanted to play today at all.

I guess stuff like that can really make someone not feel like playing a game anymore when they're faced with something too difficult for them when they're new to a game.

That's what the crown rank is for

but if you're right, that's a pretty weird event to dish out when you have thousands of new players.

these events were easy, but they implemented a different mathmaking than before and now it is very difficult to win in solo

Yeah, they’re hard. But imo that adds value to the skin and makes it much more satisfying when you earn it.

True, I got the skin on the first day, but personally had no issues myself, but for someone new like my brother it was a really bad experience for him. Though, I guess the problem really is SBMM because he was able to win without me queuing with him in solo.

Hey, I was just commenting on "SBMM (solos)" when it disappeared but I'd like to know what's the secret behind this too bc I played solo show with someone (we are quite evenly matched, I'm a little ahead of them in crown ranks, dont know how much it counts and how they do the math in SBMM) but it felt significantly harder to get to final round with them than when I was playing it alone.. so idk what was the matter, maybe I had a couple of bad days but I did feel there was a difference there.. but glad it worked out with your brother

And yes it really did feel that way for us. When we play Duo/Squad he never usually has that much trouble qualifying but when we played Solo he struggled a lot, like it was putting us in games where he could not compete.

Then the moment he played solo alone, it was a whole different world for him lol and got it on the 2nd try

Heh np :) and congrats to him! Yeah thats exactly what happened to us too, felt like we wasted time trying to do it together and the game totally changed after we tried it alone. I have to still win but now it doesn't seem impossible anymore..

totally agree, I have 500 hours and even so the event is stressful to play in solo mode, absurd that they do an event with new people in such a difficult level
