Fall guys is another victim of Epic predatory store. Modern online gaming is becoming a joke

Been playing fall guys since day one and you COULD get everything in the game by just playing\farming. Crowns had meaning, used to buy mainly legendary skins, kudos were farmable, what about now?

Kudos part of the store is just meh items tbh, being updated on a 9 days cycle, are you serious?

Crowns, the main currency and premise of this game objective is only being used for flex and ranks, that most people don't care that much unless you see a golden witch\knight\dragon. All your effort earning them completely wasted.

Show-bucks? LMAO, this is basically v-bucks from Fortnite, the exact same concept and that's REAL MONEY ONLY. Guess what? You can buy skins NOT OBTAINABLE IN ANY OTHER WAY, SHAPE OR FORM.

Skins costing 10€, are you freaking kidding me? You can buy actual good games with it on steam instead of a poor attempt at cosmetics

There's a 300 show bucks item in the middle of the kudos store, coincidence? No, that's for people accidentally waste their 300 obtainable bucks while levling so you have no other way than to buy it with real money.

Will I keep playing? Well, I can't even try the game lol, its down. Only time will tell. Man I miss the quake\cs 1.6 days. pure fun, no ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, no monetization.

true and now those who paid for the game will have to buy with money or play a lot to get the same as before, which was free before, I still had to convert my crowns, it was nothing more fair to convert the crowns into the new cash... .
And to make matters worse, I can't find a match, match making looping looking for a match, connection errors and login errors, it was good and now it's horrible

Well first season pass is free for us but yeah expect 10-20€ pass season 2, servers are ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ down for hours. Great Idea to open free to play and TWO NEW PLATFORMS at the same time.

Go and play Deep Rock Galactic. They have the most fair system I ever expirenced in any modern videogame if it comes to cosmetics or Battle Passes in general. The Pass is free and everything you can unlock still appear in the game as mission rewards etc. Nothing cost money except for some skin packs. But even these Skin Packs have like 5-10 skins for just 5€. Fall Guys just removed every Skin Pack with 3 skins in it for 5€ and sell them now seperate for 10€ in Show-Bucks.

It's really sad how they butchered this game. When Fall Guys first came out I praised it for his incredible fair unlock system and how it motivate you. You got rewards for winning in form of a special curreny to buy special skins. One of the best parts about the free Battlepass was that you couldn't unlock levels just by buying them but needed actual skill to do it.

ePIG games just butchered this game and turned it into a generic 08/15 freemium cash grab you can find at any appstore. It's really sad that this bulls**t has become the new normal in the gaming industry.

I downloaded it on Switch, but hadn't looked at anything yet. But now that I know that there are exclusive to real money skins, I'm uninstalling it and just throwing it into the proverbial trash bin. I won't support this kind of practice with my player count.

you can join random players at any given time in their game, you'll have a server/mission browser in which you can see all infos about players and their mission and also how far they have progressed. It's also worth mentioning that this game is in xbox game pass so you could snatch the free month and test it out and iirc you can even transfer your account

I've put a couple hundred hours into DRG by now. Incredible game. It is presently on sale for 67% off, and all DLC are completely optional cosmetics that only exist to support the devs. You can get the vast majority of cosmetic upgrades by playing the game and finding them on missions.
